Lifelike T and Tyco HP7 are both chassis' I get rid of just as quickly as any from Auto world. On the T ( and HP7 ) the pickup shoe setup is just plain trash. Brand new I don't consider either of them worth ten bucks. Excellent video though.
Yeah the pickup shoe spring (if you can even call it that) is not great. The T cars do run pretty well on my Viper track, fun to drive and pretty quick. I figure I will trash them once the pickup shoes wear out. I bought mine just to try them out, probably did not need to get five of them...lol. Got them pretty cheap, two for 25.
For a moment there I thought you were talking about swapping the motor mags... something I've been curious about for years. Should have figured you meant the neo dots =) I have quite a few T cars so I'm going to have to give this a try as well!
Excellent work! Life Like is awesome. Keep ‘em coming. Slot cars for life!
Thanks! Will do!

Thanks, yeah not a bad little upgrade and the magnets were pretty cheap.
Wow, thanks for sharing this!!! Great tutorial again!!!! Keep them coming!!!!
Thanks!
MSCG.. always nice to upgrade 😎
Indeed! Thanks.
Is it marv010? Looking as I have some garbage T chassis also I’d like to make better and give the grandkids.
Yes, that was the seller. Thanks.
Hi Mark, great job on all the cars 👍. Great video and information 👍. Al
Thanks 👍
Watching intently, I have many lifelike ho cars, I was able to score all of the sprint cars which are very unstable, Thanks Mark
Thanks , FYI, the seller on eBay I bought the magnets from was Marv010.
Hey Mark. Sure youve been asked 100 times, where did you get the weigh max mag scale?
I got mine off eBay but I have not seen it available in a while. Got mine at a pretty good price to $45.00.
Wizzard has them for $75.00
@@PALMER84ONE Yeah I saw that, over twice the price.
T cars always have a good showing in the regional and national races. Well designed chassis.
I like them, though I am not a fan of the pickup shoe spring setup.
@@marksslotcargarage I remember seeing a video on a mod that will help with that.
I'll look for it and link you if I can find it.
have you noticed any slower speeds after installing the N52 magnets? They certainly stick to the rails better ive noticed
No issues at all with the car slowing down. The T chassis actually has a pretty powerful armature in it, If I remember correctly it is a 3.5 ohm arm.
Hey Mark thanks for the good tip I have a bunch of those I'll look for those magnets thanks❤
Thanks, yeah it was a worth while upgrade for a very reasonable price and not too hard to do.
