    So this is the beginnings of the 3000+ RELIABLE HP small block, pretty awesome to witness this…

      I wouldn’t say small block just 3000+hp reliable LS. There’s been “small blocks” out there making more power but not in LS form.

      Cletus showed us 2000hp is ok, 2500 is not.
      Reliable is always dependant on definition and maintenance.
      I personally would love a 2000hp engine with hydraulic lifters and no screwing around. Just pull it out, drive to the track, change tunes, run a 7, change tunes and drive home. Texas speed has a 1200hp combo that will do this, Steve is on another level but that level comes with lots of valve lashing for the drive, which kinda ruins the "drag and drive" for me.
      I'm one of those odd people that only wants to go as fast as my laziness takes me...

    • @ShironAdam
      @ShironAdam 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@leftyeh6495 you only gotta do all that lashing when it's on solid lifters

      An amateur complains and explains their mistake.
      A pro will make the mistake go away.
      The biggest thing about a pro is the way they act. They calmly solve the issues presented to them without any blaming, excuses, or drama.
      (Although is an explanation the same as an excuse?)

Really been trying to expand my knowledge on the engine building side of things and the way you describe things is clear as day. Id love to be an employee in your shop being able to soak it all in. The combustion chamber and runners on the SML heads are amazing. Need to find the detailed videos on them so as not to ask questions already answered.
    Dewey chilling out. LOL Awesome!
    "wadder". LOL Self deprecation is a good thing. We're all human and levity is appreciated.
