I never knew very much about Primrose Hill. This is a beautiful park with a gorgeous Muse, to day the least. I love sneaking down little side streets to see great little beautiful areas (in nice areas). So it will be a pleasure to do this. Love the boutique shopping area down Primrose Street here. I do love the smaller special shops over the large department stores for the most part anyway. Love the pretty trees and the wrought iron fences and the gorgeous white buildings. Thank you for posting that map - I can see the proximity to Regents Park and that they are close. I see the grass is still a lovely green and the trees are still flourishing. Nice you still have that left to enjoy. What are the temps there now? It has hit the mid 50s to mid 60s (in Fahrenheit) here in the southeast of the US. I just love the cooler weather. My dogs love it too. Enjoyed Primrose Hill - so delightful.
Yes those smaller shops are so much more individual and also the great thing about here is that Camden is just around the corner! Temps here now about the same as yours with cold snaps overnight :)
PS Really like Primrose Hill (literally the hill and the scape). And although its historic distinction a little dark-ish , I'm feeling a freshness, exhilaration, peace and depth. Dynamite place for an indulgent, leisurely *picnic. So sorry I missed this while living in London, although names like "Primrose Hill," "Camden " - familiar. Wonderful, inviting area. Thanks so much, Steve.
You haven’t experienced Primrose Hill unless you’ve sledged all the way down it when it’s covered in snow, screaming your head off, as I would back in the 1970s. I was so lucky to have grown up there...
What a beautiful place. Don't worry about the heavy breathing I don't think I could go up most of the hills without wheezing, I am so out of shape. The houses are just amazing and I am sure that they wipe out Muswell Hill's prices including the mews. I just wonder if they have back 🤔 gardens. The views you get are something else. I could just stay on the top of the hill all day just walking round and round. It's so beautifully green as well. Sad to see more cranes still.I would love to see what they have in the corner shop. 📖 shops are always interesting. Curious about some of the other shops too.
