Looks like a nice camp, Phil. That sunset was spectacular! Good thing you didn't launch the drone too early and catch that couple in action, or this could have really been an "educational" video! Well, at least that's what your permit was for, anyway! :) Cheers!

Not done a solo wild camp yet mate and as I'm local to the area, was thinking of breaking myself into solo wild camping and this seems like just the place to do it. Thanks for sharing mate 👍

I’m wondering about camping there, I find a spot when I can see that people camping before even making fire, you think would be ok and Legally to camping into the woods ?

Glad you liked it.... as for legally its a grey area, I wouldn't have a fire in there, as long as you respect the area you shouldn't have any issues..... enjoy your camp!

What times do the rangers come? Do they stop at certain times? Was thinking about having a go here for a while. Any tips on avoided the rangers? Lol

Ok everything i saw was about 7-8pm... basically when the car park was closing but i didnt park in there so it was fine... you should definatly do it.... if we are all respecting the area thats fine, its just when people dont respect the outdoors when we get issues..... if you go enjoy it mate! Let me know how it goes :)

@@philyourboots brilliant, thanks for the info, I really appreciate it :) This will be my fist ‘wild’ camp so I’m a bit scared of getting seen lol I’m definitely with you on respecting the area, I wish everybody did. Can’t wait to give it a go anyway :) Did you park on a normal road close by? Or walk far? I just want to be prepared (I usually carry too much 😂)

Ok you go as if your entering the car park tge take the last left.... houses on left and park on right next to field.... go right across the field and follow pink signs with asparagus pic on them.... pass the benches and then at the big wooden stature turn left and its just down the path..... if you like head over the my facebook and i will pm you a map

Rangers i never saw any after 7pm and they never got out of the car so didnt even enter the wooded areas.... and ive been a few times now
