Lockdown sessions...Trout lure set up!

Right its mid Lockdown here in the UK, we haven't been able to get on the bank for what feels like 15 years and I've finally caved and decided to make a few videos! This video is a break down of my trout lure fishing set up after quite a few questions from you guys. This is what I use and a few ideas of the types of things you need to get started fishing for these lovely fish!! My plans when we get released are pretty trout heavy and I'm getting very excited to get out there chasing these spotted rockets asap and making a few videos! I hope you and your family's are safe and well and dealing with this unprecedented time as best you can. I hope you enjoy the vids if you are getting a bit stuck for something to do stuck inside the house!! This is my second video in the lockdown sessions series and I'm planning on doing a few more before the bank holiday weekend is over so please keep asking questions in the comments and I will keep going!! All these lockdown sessions will be based on questions that I have been asked over the last few months from you guys and girls and I will make as many as I can based on the questions I receive!!
Fingers crossed this whole situation will start to get relaxed sooner than we all think and we will be back on the bank very soon! But until then apologies its just me in my living room and there is no action from the bank!!

Nice. Single hooks are definitely a must for trout they slash at baits and get hooked anywhere. If you are returning fish it is the only option.

I also fished for trout before my perch fishing. Fly fished for many years and still do. Never tried tiny cranks n stuff for them though. Interesting stuff mate 👍🎣

I started lure fishing for trout last year, really enjoying it. I’m the same as you, all my lures have singles on. It’s hard to find the rivers to do it on but hopefully it will start to change👍🏼

Hi mate! Awesome. Yea you need a rod license and then you will need to check at each place you fish that you can buy a day ticket to fish. There is limited free fishing in the UK but the canals are usually very cheap day tickets on the bank or at local tackle shops!
