    Detailed instructions:
    Find a place you wish to build your CAMP that has a PRE-EXISTING CONTAINER in the space selected, which can be any container in the world server that can hold items. Like a trash bin, a cooler, a suitcase, etc. Then, you should build your CAMP around this container and clear mark it so players know the box is a donation box holding items they can take out for free.

    All the hate in the comments is just people COMPLETELY missing the point of this. People vendor hop, new players check out other peoples camps. This is a awesome way to offload unwanted stuff to a variety of different players, wether new or veterans.
    If you happen to have a pre existing container in your camp, this is a really awesome idea, especially when it's clearly visible to other players who visit like at yours in the video.
    great stuff 10/10 I will absolutely be doing this soon.

      This is the internet, the hate will come sooner or later. But in their defense, I might have not been so clear in the video, so partially it's my bad. I should have started showing the space without the CAMP, the container, and then activating the camp around it. Thanks a lot for your message, this brightened my day today! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

      This is 100% not adding a donation box to your camp - it's leaving stuff in a world container. The best build is 100% irrelevant.
      The message that this is a world container is absolutely not clear in the video.

    • @brazilliantplays
      @brazilliantplays  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@zanthor Yes, I reckon that I could have done a lot better to make the video clearer. But regarding the world container, it has exactly the same mechanics as the donation box. They don't share contents on the server in different locations, so the only difference between this and the official donation box is the shape and color. Any world container can be a donation box if you label it properly.

    Ok yea at first i was like all of you. You can't place down a stash box an make it a donation box but thats not what he is saying. It confused me for a second as well. What he is saying is find a container in the world that can hold stuff, don't build one, and build your camp around it and use it for a donation box. Just put a sign somewhere around the container so people know its not just a random box.

    I keep a vault-tec duffle bag on my pool table near my vendors with a light shining on it and transfer unwanted items to it throughout the time I'm playing. It's always satisfying to come back and either add to it or replace it with a new one since someone has taken the loot. If no one takes anything and I'm about to log off, I just pick up everything (if it's worth it) and start a new one the next time I'm on. Sometimes, people leave their own loot bags next to it. It feels more personal than just leaving everything in a donation box

  • @Sperkowitz
    @Sperkowitz 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Now I wish we had an actual donation box. I dislike the vendor system in this game. But I do see some benefits. One of which is seeing players make an actual visit. All other game you'll never see them.

    This is not a donation box. This is a locked stash that you hand things out of manually.

      It's a preexisting container that you find in places around Appalachia. Any kind of container will do. You can find trash bins, coolers, and suitcases as part of the world server. You need to find a location for your CAMP where you have at least one of these.

    Instead of "how", we should ask "why?" Wayward is the first stop for most new players, and if your camp is far away from vault 76, the likelihood of someone actually finding your donation box is very small.

    • @bentaxledad6778
      @bentaxledad6778 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I was going to suggest this, too. Dropping extra plans most people want but don't really want to spend caps on with a low level/new character would be perfect at the donation box at the Wayward. You still cannot escape losing extra gear in a random existing in-game storage container if you get a typical Bethesda game crash to the dashboard and you can't get back into the same world server.

    • @brazilliantplays
      @brazilliantplays  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      But guys, this is a video for you to have an extra feature in your camp. I am not trying to create any new rules here. Anyone should do what they think is the best with their unwanted items to share with others. Spread the good in Apallachia. 😄

    • @bentaxledad6778
      @bentaxledad6778 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @brazilliantplays don't get me wrong, re-purposing existing structures and storage containers is a cool aspect of using the environment already present without having to use up CAMP budget. Caps can be tight for new players to fast travel around looking for freebies unless you join a team and go to their camp. It would just make sense that if you want to help out other players that you either build one of your camps near lower level events or drop in the donation boxes somewhere like the Wayward, Flatwoods, or even Morgan Station.

    • @brazilliantplays
      @brazilliantplays  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@bentaxledad6778 The thing is, I don't only add stuff that beginner players need, if you are lucky you can find 1-4 star mods inside my box. Loads of chems, stimpaks, and other utilities for all player levels. I just like to have an extra feature inside my CAMP. When I log off, if it is still full, I take all and put it inside an official donation box in these locations you mentioned. Usually the entrance of vault 76 or the Whitespring Station, but I will start using the Wayward more often now after your suggestions. 😄

    • @bentaxledad6778
      @bentaxledad6778 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @brazilliantplays yeah, I forgot about the donation box at the Vault 76 entrance. There just is no real reason to ever go by there once you leave the vault, so it is probably overlooked by a lot of players. That's cool you put a variation of helpful gear in there that could apply to multiple different levels of players.

    There’s no donation camp box item so there’s no way to set up a donation box at your camp. Anything you put in a box that’s not a stash will fall to the ground and stay there until somebody picks it up for the server de spawn it just put it in the established boxes or drop them on the ground in your backpack your drop bag it’s just as effective as what you talk about in the video. It’ll sit there on the ground and somebody might find it even if your server have it possibleotherwise you just gotta keep picking it up and dropping it and picking it up and dropping it and it kind of treats the purpose of dropping it off when you don’t need it anymore.

    • @brazilliantplays
      @brazilliantplays  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sorry, but I don't think your information is right. If you add anything to a server pre-existing box container, it won't drop to the ground/floor, it will stay inside the container. It's the exact same mechanic the official donation box works as they don't share the items through all the donation boxes spread in the server. It's the same method used to transfer items to your mule.
      The difference here is you are building your camp around one of those and clearly marking this box as a donation box inside your camp so players know that they can find free stuff inside of it. Once you leave the server, your items will stay there, but as your camp is not there anymore, it won't be marked as such. You can do whatever you like with your unwanted items, you can drop on the floor for players to find, you can drop on the official donation boxes, but you also can create your own donation box (it's not the red one, and not a CAMP item but works in the exactly same way). See my pinned comment on this video and try it yourself.

    I enjoy Fallout 76 thoroughly. But, the designers have made the experience way too easy when wandering the wasteland. Boxes and items generators everywhere.

  • @billy_cross
    @billy_cross 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

    No, it was OK. It’s just a pointless effort. Why not just drop them in a bag on the ground that will also stay there beyond your camp believing that bag will still sit there on the ground. Seriously take one of the drop bags that’s visible. That’s easy to see like the one that’s beeping at everybody and then if you wanna put a spot in your camp with us free sign just drop shit right in front of it. Stand there for half a second after you drop it And your drop bag will appear right in front of the free sign. It’ll work the same way as your extra camp item that takes up resources, but it’s free and it’s built into your character already like a tombstone or the vault deck bag. These are all highly visible and I guarantee that when somebody comes to your camp, they’re gonna see it and check it

    you cant set up a donation box at your camp. everything you can put items in is just a normal stash and every stash is always the players own. you cant even lock them because it would be pointless. why wouldnt you test something before making a video about it? this makes me doubt your other videos.
