  • In this episode I will show you how I made my homemade or generator put together. I got the generator from an old RV. I made the new trailer and most of the metal from scrap metal and material that was available in my shop. I am also showing the wiring of the control box. I hope you will enjoy this video as I enjoyed making it for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me and I will be happy to answer your questions. Thank you for watching and thank you for your support. Be safe and have a great day,

    Great video! I was wonder if you tried measuring both legs of the common (110V) wires to see if it reads 220V? Just curious.

      Good morning sir, I measured the two hot wires and they read 0VAC. I downloaded the technical manual for this generator (HGJAA - HGJAF page 47) and it showed this generator comes with one of three configurations:
      Three phase 120/240.
      Single phase 120/240.
      Single phase 120.
      I would like to have the 240, unfortunately my setup will only output 120. Most likely I can modify it, however, I think it will be cheaper and easier to just use a 3.6KVA stepup transformer 120 to 240 if I ever need to get 240 out of this generator. I have an old transformer 120/240/480 I can use if I need to. Thank you for watching and I appreciate your feedback.

    Good day my friend, me and you have the same backhoe I've been following you for a few years now. I have a question regarding the adjustment of the parking brake. Lately I tried to disengage it and it'll keep beeping, I checked all my fluids they're up to where they should be. So all I could think is it's an adjustment. Have you ever done one before on the 310D. Thank you

      Good morning sir, when you release the parking brake switch, does the brake release or remain (the engine must be running)? If you have the machine on Neutral, does the buzzer sounds? Did you remove the foot plate and see if the actuator do anything upon changing the parking brake switch position while the machine is on (should be large cylinder about under your right foot in driving position)?
      There are many components involving the parking brake on the 310D and you should narrow the issue first to minimize parts and labor. Try the above and let me know.

      @@SalamSayhood i am going to take the floor plate off to inspect the park brake. The symptoms are when turning the park switch to off it will disengage the brake but very slowly. Not the normal. I have ownef the maching for 20years
      Also the alarm will come on but will eventually go off.

      After removing the floor plates, pressure wash the area so you can better inspect it mechanically and also check the wires for the parking brake system. Let me know what you find.

      @@SalamSayhood I wish I could send you a picture but anyways I have the front panel in front of the seat off and I see the actuator or solenoid. But I think I have to take the whole seat assembly off too to get at that parking brake adjustment area. Correct?

      @SalamSayhood  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes sir, that is correct.

    Do you have line 120 voltage ac and 12 V DC in that same box?

    • @SalamSayhood
      @SalamSayhood  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good morning, yes, should be no problem. The generator itself has 120VAC and 12VDC in the internal control box. I ran two separate flex, one for the high voltage and one for the low voltage and they are at least 4" away from each other.
