Civilization is based on the concept that on certain occasions ( rare but important ), your larger family takes precedence over you emotional needs as regards your actual family. One of these occasions is: representing your country in a culturally defining, worldly relevant, endeavor - especially if a great deed is possible. This is that time. 1 Million of his larger family needed him. His mates on the team needed him. He put their needs before his own, and took the field when it mattered.

All respect to his decision to remain... I believe he will play for his son's memory in the next game and as Christians, we understand that one day we will all meet at Jesus feet..... let's pray for him and his family during this moment in time ❤
