I just won a hackathon in my college (1st place) where 90% code was written by chatgpt. It was a mapping service using location api with integrated chatgpt in the web application

I totally agree with your points and recently I am also using ChatGPT in a similar manner. I even use it to understand code snippets when I am learning new topics and the available tutorial/documentation is hard to wrap my head around the concepts. I just marvel at the abilities of ChatGPT and how it tremendously helps me in my daily programming life. Awesome content from you once again.

10:46 React prints your console.log() statements twice when your App component is wrapped in a StrictMode component in your index.js file.
It re-renders your components an extra time to find bugs caused by impure rerendering (side effects).

Wrap it in a fragment or a div
And strict mode runs only in development mode, in production mode strict mode won't run!

It will be logged twice because of new React 18 i.e in strict mode react will render twice to check purity of a component, as the components in react must be pure which means the output that we get should be the same for a specific input.

It runs twice because in development mode react app component is wrapped with strict mode in index.js file, so compiler runs it's twice (it's an default behaviour)

Hey Harkirat, I know you are going to mad at me.
But i am following indian traditional placement path i.e. dsa, os, dbms, system design and project path to get job.
But can this same path help to get remote developer jobs as fresher or even good paying internship.
If yes, then what should be the steps.

Be careful when you generate test data using ChatGPT. It’s one of the areas where it messes up.
I was recently writing a utility to read a large file in reverse order. I asked ChatGPT to generate 260 lines of text for me, with 50 a’s, 50,bs upto z in each line, and then repeat it 10 times.
All my Unt tests kept failing with that sample data, until I realized that ChatGPT has added 55 characters in one row, and 47 in some others. Totally randomly. When I pointed that out, the bot fought with me, and claimed that there are 50 characters in each line. Tried many times, but every time it was giving incorrect output.
It was funny, that ChatGPT can do all of this, but can’t run a for loop. (I know language models aren’t that great at running for loops, even if they can print them out)
its not the problem of chatgpt takng out jobs but the jobs are going to get impacted now
