REGARDING the creation of the STL file, it appears your prompt was too simple, and it clearly added python to the equation. As a test I tried your prompt with Gemini and Meta and neither would generate an STL, now if we changed the prompt and asked it to use python to generate the STL then the other LLMs may be able to do that. This is an area I am very interested in. Thanks

The GPT 4o dropdown menu seems to be missing on my end.
I installed the latest version of chat GPT off Google Play store and when it loads up there is an icon of headphones at the bottom right. If you click on that, you can then have an uninterrupted conversation without touching the phone... The voice model is not that of the presentation yet but it's very close with not needing to click anything to send what you are saying and the AI will talk back to you and wait for you to speak again with listening open. It seems what is going on as of yet is it is text underneath and the AI is voicing the text but is doing a very good job and sounds very human-like in its responses.
Yeah, that current voice mode is still the old one that has been available for multiple months now. It still first uses audio-to-text, gives that text to GPT, and then uses text-to-audio on the output.
Once the new voice mode comes out, audio, pictures, and video will be given directly to GPT-4o with no intermediate steps since that is the main new feature of this model - the neural net supports audio, video, and images natively now rather than just text.

hope the vision-reasoning-capabilities of gpt4o will be enhanced in thebmext few days. it's super bad at analysing how many different coins i stacked onto each other. i stacked 5 different (different size+colour)coins and it wasn't able to give me the right number of coins. also tried smth else:used few-shot method and fed it a screenshot of all the existing euro-coins (with each coin described and shown from front , back and side). it couldn't tell me which coins were stacked here. simple vision-task. total failure

The free version is severely limited. You'll get a few responses and then you'll be locked out for a period of time. So it is free to try. It's not entirely useless... but really, it is.

Try using a different browser. I was using brave browser and could only see up to 3.5 and after opening up Google Chrome I was given the option to try GPT 4o

OpenAI has done a poor job with their announcement. I have this idea that if they create drama by just not sharing things that they should be sharing, this will help their business. Short term thinking. for example, still have no idea how much a paid user gets to use the model versus user. Try modifying your instructions for it, or tell it to store into memory, that you want it to stop doing that and prefer succinct and straight to the point answers. Worked even before GPT4o for me so the new model should be better at that, although I don't have access to it yet so I can't test it.
