That random CA at 7:14 was SF6's buffer window doing its work. 🤣 He charged BACK after upside down kick, move FORWARD for a few frames, kakeru attacks, Caba blocks (BACK), Caba either did a sobat or an upside down kick after that (FORWARD+mk/hk) = CA. I'm a Guile player and this happened to me a couple of times.
The only problem with Kakeru is, he is very likely not winning the Japan WW final. So we are not going to see him in CPT final. Capcom really needs to give Japan at least one more spot.
He might be the best JP player, but a good Ken player can still beat him.
I feel like sending Kakeru to losers is praying someone else beats him there cause he just uses that time to download you in the runback.

The moment Caba beat Kakeru in the winners final, I knew that Gachikun was the only hope. If Kakeru beats Gachikun, there was no doubt in my mind that he would run it back and beat against Caba, which he did.

Perfect Parry just needs to only be used against air attacks which still allows you to do it vs Blanka, Honda, etc while forcing most people to still play a grounded game and not making it bad to be aggressive.

People complain about perfect parry but they also complain about throw loops, and you can't have one without the other so idk. Maybe in the years to come perfect parry will be nerfed to 1 frame just so it's a less frequent occurrence or at least a less reliable answer to pressure but tbh I feel like if it was 1 frame guys like kakeru would just lab it until they were just as consistent in a 1 frame window. There is plenty of negativity around a few of the system mechanics but I still think the game is fun as fuck.
JP is certainly the best character in the game, but Kakeru is so much better compared to other JP players, no one plays this character so optimal
Amnesia is actually cheap af lol. The only reversal in the game you can combo into something.
One of the only reversals that you can use in burnout too

Being a new chun main, Perfect Parry became my best friend unfortunately😂. I struggled with her defensively so much in the beginning when I started fighting good players that I had to learn it. When I got decent at it I seen how it could change a whole game for me and stuck with em. BUT. It’s high risk every time for you if misread and then you get huge damage dealt to you. Use it sparingly.
