- This is our grandma's recipe and it works for everyone who has tried it. It worked for us, our dog Coco, our cousins, even our neighbor's older dog. Our neighbor was so thankful that we saved her from a trip to the vet.

Hi Girls, thanks soooo much for this remedy! My hubby had a viral stomach upset for over a week and nothing we tried worked. Had a go at your broth and he also ate the rice and carrots together with a mixed in dry scrambled egg as he hadn't eaten for so long. He is feeling so much better, thank you for posting this. xx

How long did it take?
If you don't have any carrots you can use apple or blueberries which are also high in pectin. I actually used blueberries. This recipe really works and it's so simple.

Louie and I are giving this a try. I have been watching videos about withholding food for 16-24 hours and then rice.. or mixing rice and chicken, but he has not been drinking enough water today. He drank some of the rice broth.. we'll see how he does. I wanted to be able to give him something today to rehydrate him. I'll let you know how he does! xoxox

Oh my God it works. Please try this for any one who needs help. I tried this with my brother who have covid 19 and have diarrhea for 14 days. I gave him 16 oz one time and his diarrhea stoped. Same time I used BRAT (banana, rice, apple sauce, toast) diet. Thank you so much you wonderful girls. May the Heavenly Father bless you all.

Muhammad Ali I did exactly what the cute girls did. I used basmati rice and some baby carrots that I have at home. Fried the rice until it become brown and add water, then I put carrots. Bring it to a boil. I boiled little bit more what they showed in the video. Please make your son drink a bottle of this water. If he can’t, let him have 1/2 bottle at a time. Also use BRAT diet with it. Banana, rice porridge( in bangla we called it jau, 1/2 cup of basmati rice boil with lots of water and salt, make it like boiled oatmeal.) apple sauce (I used mots apple sauce), regular bread. Use toasted bread and apple sauce, he might like it. Give him children pedialyte or any gatorade. I hope and pray that he feels better. Let me know how it goes. Ramadan Kareem!
