There are a really confusing number of products around now with what I call a lot of overlap in what they do. To do this sort of thing I have been using artists oil paints thinned down. I also use very watered down acrylic paints sometimes. I think it is a matter of a modeler developing his/her techniques and establishing what works for them. They do look good though.

Well, it is better to have many options to try. I love to use different products as they can give different results :)
Not a fan of these kinds of demos on a block or a spoon.
Real world modelling applications makes sense.

At the time of recording I had no model ready for such application. Next Monday I will make some on my Hetzer and then on the base for it. :)

It looks like they dried very quick and didn't allow a lot of feathering. Do you think that was because of what you painted them on?
Well, they dried in normal time - I always use accelerator to save my time. :)

In your opinion, which is better, the liquid pigments from VMS or those from AK?
Both. VMS and AK has some different effect when dry so you need to try :)
