Hey! Did your tablet come with any protective film that prevents scratching? Ik there's a thin film you need to peel off but is there one underneath that or in the box? I've been trying to ask XPPEN about it because I wanna buy the deco L, and they're kinda unclear if it comes with film or not :/
Ty for the review though! I've been consuming everything I can find abt this tablet bc it's too cute. The corrupted footage was funny but also kind of rly aesthetic I think lol, also I like your use of colour, everything fits together so nicely and looks so soft :D
Hi! After taking the thin film there’s no more protective films. In the box only comes wires and little info booklets.

I doesn't come with a screen protector on which you can draw, only the transport packaging. However you can order screen (pad) protectors from the xppen site, however to be honest with you I believe that the protectors for the graphic tablets are pretty useless.

I got the L for myself and yeah it doesn't have an obvious film but the surface is suuuper matte so I wonder if their "two-shot molding" actually does have a protective finish to it. I'm still planning to get film for it anyway to prevent future wear.
and @Emil Dimitrov You could consider them useless as it seems like there's no display to protect, but my last Intuos' surface wore down and even though it was subtle you could still feel the uneven texture. Also it really ruined how the tablet looked beforehand because it left a shiny circular spot. That's why I want film for the Deco L because they're all cute and coloured and I'd hate for eventual scratches to ruin it in both aesthetic and personal value :/ Thanks for the input though! I'm glad there's film for this model already but it's kinda pricey, so might be worth looking into diy alternatives if they're cheaper for anyone else curious, since it's mostly just a sheet of matte pvc.

Yeah I tend to use screen protectors for my ipad since I prefer a paper texture, but with graphic tablets I don’t feel a need for them
Glad to know you got one!! I myself tend to not use protective film for the graphic tablets, only on my ipad, but you do have a point about the shiny spots! My old wacom bamboo is a mess and super worn down because of that. Do let me know if you found a good dyi replacement since it would be a great resource to have!
You know I actually can’t make digital, every time I try it’s just… it’s a… well it doesn’t look good, that’s a nice way to phrase it 😅
It can be quite difficult to get used to it or find what works for you! For me I know I like brushes that have texture, cause that just helps it not looking so “perfect”
I heard it works on ipad(in ibis paint app) can you please try it there💙
Does it have a lot of line jitter
I found the line quite steady, but I don’t focus a lot of a super steady lineart
