Well that was the BEST review of a digitizer that i've seen. The fact that you actually showed HOW you are drawing is actually what made me buy this tablet. You missed a little on the software that accompanies this tablet but that i ok, i searched for the software from other creators. THANK you very much for this review.

@@punkbuster2004 hey there sorry for the super late reply! And thank you for the comment as well. One thing about the software is that XP-Pen actually updated it along the way. I’ll have to look back at it again to see what’s new! Glad you’re enjoying it though! It is definitely a solid option for starting the digital art journey!

Hey man, I don't know if you have any experience with the other really popular xp pen drawing tablet the deco 01 v2, but if I am looking between getting this one (the deco M) or the deco 01 v2, which would you say is the better one? Any possible price differences are irrelevant as I can actually pick up the deco 01 v2 for cheaper than the deco M, but I am wondering if the deco M, being a more newer and recent product, is better than the 01 v2. Thanks.

After looking into the Deco 01 v2, it seems like the only real difference between the two besides there being a wireless version of the M is the size. The Deco 01 seems to have a larger space to draw on and I will say that tablets like these take a bit of getting used to drawing wise. I would go for something more recent in that regards only because support might last longer (except XP-Pen supports their products for a long while, from what I can tell). I would grab the M for the long term but if the Deco is at a good price, I would jump onto that. Hope this helps a bit!

@@theprizewinningsquid Hey man, thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment. I ended up getting the Deco L. I figure if you've got the deskspace it's always better to go with a bigger size because you can always use the software to restrict your drawing area if you want, but it's impossible to do the opposite. I also looked more into the specs and I read some comments on how some people didn't like the deco 01 v2 because it has a high initial activation force, while the new deco models with that X3 chip is much better in that regard.

@@rickyGman11 how yeah that’s a solid buy right there. Let me know how you like it! I do want to review some more of the X3 chip models they have to see how they feel overall. I’m also interested in seeing how some of the competition stacks up against these models since I love seeing what kinds of tech are out there for us beginner and intermediate artists!

Oh, M is quite small compared with my old wacom Bamboo fun medium. We share same experience with the bamboo.
I want to buy the pink one. I got tempted bc the pink color 🤣🤣
Is it easy to use on android? I mean some other XP pen version said the proportion of the tablet and the phone is different. Is that happen to on Deco?
Because I seldom paint on computer anymore and I need tablet who able to paint at my android from my bed 🙈 thank you

Android is kind of weird with this device because the orientation is weird/changes based on how the phone is set up. It does take some getting used to if you’re like me and used to a computer or bigger tablet like an iPad but it’s doable. I would say after a week of use, you’ll be used to the size of it and you won’t mind too much but you’d definitely have to work with it for awhile to get comfortable on it.

@@theprizewinningsquid I use realme mini pad (8,7" / 215cm^2). Usually I'm paint using universal stylus with no pen pressure and it's really hard because the screen is very small compared my 23" monitor 😭 I thought buying XP-pen will make it easier. I have CTS and paint in small area make it hurts. So, do U think it's worth if I buy it? I want to buy XP Pen Deco Size L. Because I still have my bamboo and it works just fine in my computer. Thank you

Hello! Ive been using the larger pentab (it would be as big as Deco L probably) for the longest time and im thinking to switch to this Deco MW because it looks practical and easy to carry and !!the bluetooth wireless function!! But i wonder if I actually need all of those eventho i DO want it D:
    I have some questions:
    1. Do you think it annoys you when your hand kinda slips when you draw on the corner of the pentab? As it doesnt have a large hand rest area
    2. Do you think the bluetooth function would worsen the performance of the pentab as time passed by? Like would it still works well eventho we're using it in a long period of time (like 1-2 years)
    3. I heard the pentablet using battery, does it also apply even when you use the cable? Or does it work just like a normal pentablet when you use the cable
Sorry i asked a lot of questions, thank you!!

So sorry for the late reply!
To answer your questions: 1) I don’t use this every day, however, my Mini-Squid uses it regularly and hasn’t complained but they have smaller hands. While I was testing it and the times I’ve played around with it, it takes some adjustment so that I’m not slipping off the side. Definitely tweaking the drawing area helps a ton to fix this.
      2) I don’t think Bluetooth degradation is a thing anymore that we really have to worry about. I think this will work great for years to come if you have the Bluetooth version!
      3) I think it charges when you have the cable in. The version I reviewed here is the cable only version (we have iPads for drawing on the go) but I do believe the Bluetooth version charged with the cable when it’s plugged in!
      I hope that helps!
