Biggest tip coming from a junior in college! Do not bring all of your winter clothes with you when you just move in. Bring a couple sweatshirts but on fall/winter break bring home majority of your summer clothes and bring your winter outfits to your dorm. Then vice versa when it hits spring and you go home for spring break. This goes out to anyone heading to college this year (obviously it all depends on the location of your university).
There are some rubber bottoms for the hydro flasks that i really recommend. It helps keep the bottom without dents, it doesn't slide, etc. I 100% recommend it.

a tip for instead of using zip ties to connect your extension cord to your bed leg...use velcro strips and put it on the back of the extension cord and on the leg of the bed so you can attach it without the zip ties showing or being a pain later if you need to move the cord !! :)
