Are they available in the USA? I'd love to try those around the Chesapeake Bay for redfish, trou6, flounder, stripers and cobia. I'd need a few sizes for all those species. Are they being shipped here?
Really happy with the squidtrex range apart from one small problem. The line that goes from the assist hooks to the split ring on the lure has unraveled on 3 of my lures, I think this needs to be looked at, otherwise great selection and good looking lures.
Spot on with the comment above. Hugely dependent on situation. We've been getting pannies on the 65 and 75 in the shallows during testing, also caught them in 100m with the 130's and above.
Keen to try on big offshore king George whiting in 40m. Maybe use one hanging off a padanoster. We drift so thinking that's the only way to have it down there? Thoughts? Im in WA and the big King George are over 50cm.
That could work, definitely worth giving a go! If you don't get any hits I'd recommend a cast and retrieve style giving it a slow hop along the bottom.
@@NomadTackle cheers. Normally at least 40m and rarely a slow drift here in WA because of the wind, but definitely if we have a glass off and slow drift i will definitely just run it normally with around 80lb leader and cast up drift 👌. Cheers!
@@NomadTacklethankyou, I'm going to do a review on my youtube channel, I look forward to adding some extra hooks. Could I ask is there a recommended size hook for each size? I'd find that very helpful. Cheers!
Thanks for the video. I have two of the deep sea Squidtrex but want to add extra hook assists or treble to the bottom side. Would you recommend? Greetings from the Med coast of Türkiye. (Adana City)
Hi - A single Diablo has been used with good results. The single hook keep the sink rate as high as possible. If sink rate isn't the priority then a Raptor treble on the belly is a good option. Assist hhoks on the belly can foul up on the main line.
Why not make the front tow point vibrate as well? Does that mean for landbased anglers, you pretty much can't use it as a vibe because you won't be jigging it vertically often?
The two tow points offer two different styles of using this lure. The front tow point is designed to give the lure a twitch bait style with erratic action. The top tow point is for the vibing action. Both techniques are effective for land based fishing. Which tie point you use will be dependent on water depth and what action best suits the species you're chasing.

Squidtrex is effective on all those species. Check out our Vertrex Vibes as well for Bluefish and Bonita feeding on baitfish. In hard bodies and metals we have a great selection for Bluefish and Bonito - Madscads, Riptides, Ridgeback LC - visit the website and check them out.
Every lure Nomad makes is brilliant 👏 been hanging out for the little ones since you showed them. Im going to need another box 😆 🤣
Glad you like them!
Big lures catch big fish and 55mm will catch all fish
@@NomadTackle can you tell me please some good colours and sizes for snapper in 5-25m deep water
Love the attention to detail and R&D going into these lire designs. Lots of options too for every situation. Thank you Nomad!

They are super fishy!
These look amazing
I need this in my life!!!!
I got one as they were stocking because I saw this vid as soon as it came up and I got the 65 it is awesome
Awesome! Now it's time for the larger one that was teased 😬
Working on it!
When are these available?? I love the larger ones, but these smaller ones will definitely be great for some back bay fishing.
Available in the USA early next year
Okay, I was hoping to go to Bass Pro Shop tomorrow. I wouldn't mind picking up a couple of the smaller size ones.
Not available in the USA quite yet!
@@NomadTackleI will FIRST in line!
My friend bought me one and I am so excited to try it because my friend has a boat and I am going to try it on his boat

thank you for this feedback. Our team are looking into this.
what size would you recommend for snapper
It depends how deep, current and how u fish. I've used the 110g for slow pitch jigging upto 100 ft. In the gulf for reds.

I've got single hooks and trebles, which would you recommend fir an additional hook on thr bottom? Mostly targeting flatties
They come with super sticky twin BKK assist hooks ready to fish. But if you're going to add an additional, single is best.

any ideas what you would go for pinkies landbased?
Try the 75 or 85, will be depending on what water depth and current you're fishing
Good lure that one
going beach fishing for new years eve you reckon they would work off of the beach for salmon?
i bought the 10gram white one
Did it work?
@@KyleBoisethe squidtrex had no interest at all, did catch some nice size salmon on metal spoons though 😅

🔥🔥🔥
So the front tow point is designed for twitch style fishing and the middle tow point, more for the vibe action, am I correct?
100% correct
Couldn’t catch anything with these lures if my life depended on it lol what size do you recommend for king fish ?
Depends on conditions and what size kingfish you're chasing. Anything from the 95 up to the 150 for deeper water. The new 85 for shallower scenarios.
I’m going to try these.. Will this plastic react with others? And can you recommend a safe storage method?
Yes the TPE material will react. Please store in original packaging, or separately in a TPE 'worm proof' tackle tray
Thanks 👍
Hi, is there any specific colour you would recommend for victorian waters?
depends a bit on what species and water depth. The White Glow and Tiger patterns are the most popular

Which size is best for black seabass and fluke?
Depending on depth and current anywhere from the 95 to the 130
so if I'm trolling in my yak I should use the front tow point as opposed to the centre tow point? or could I still troll using the centre tow point?

Selling those in Europe??
Not as yet - we ship internationally from this website. www.nomadtackle.com.au/
I love these lures but it would cost the national debt of Argentina to get every size and colour!
