HOA stands for Home Owners Association. Not all single family homes will be in an HOA but all condos and townhomes will be governed by an HOA and therefor will require an additional monthly fee! Hope this helps:)

RB is pretty much all old retirees. If you want your family around a bunch of old people, move to RB. Poway a much better spot for families.
