I used to be very self conscious of my acne scars, I was very shy and insecure because of it, I was even scared to look in the mirror at myself. Now that I'm older and wiser, I'm proud of it. My imperfections give me personality and makes me unique. I love it and it feels cool.
Thanks for sharing! I started using the Lavender Dove and my face was doing good. I tried the Unscented Dove and I started breaking out and saw my pores clogging. I immediately went back to the lavender Dove and I’m back on track
In the beginning for the before, you were talking about all your imperfections. I just want you to know you are beautiful! I love your channel so much and I can't wait to see you grow!!!
I have been using the dove bar in the morning and night for a week now. I havent took pictures so i cant see physical difference but i think it makes my face feel amazing and it has removed some bumps from my face. Only thing is that it kind of makes ky face itch and i dont know if that is an allergic reaction or something but it doesnt make my face red like the others i have used
Hello Chelsea, I used to have acne too when I was younger. The best thing that actually helped me get rid of it was washing twice daily with Biore charcoal facial wash and applying Retin-A gel to my face at night. Hope this helps and thanks for the video.
@@bradleyluto4890 just Dove. I threw everything EVERYTHING else away. I only washed my face with Dove before bed. I washed it with warm water + soap , massaged it gently then washed it with cold water after to close to the pores. I did not do it this harsh at all. She does it very harsh on the video. I would not touch my face like that. It would cause me to break out.
I don't know but I feel that Dove makes the skin oily, just use it when you feel that your skin is dry. I'm using La roche posay effaclar cleanser and it works fine
i just finished the 500ml dark blue effaclar, combo skin and started with sensitive bar and honestly i feel like it provides me muuch more hydration that lrp🤗really depends
i think witch hazel would be great on your skin or oil free acne wash. or st ives is really great too if you want abrasion. if you don’t want abrasion then i recommend trying a creamy product
See I love dove and I still use it for my face as a wash and I also use I switch off with acne cleansers that I have with cilic acid or benzoyl peroxide and whatnot and also acne lotions but once in awhile I'll wash my face with Dove but I also have to use a silic acid acne pad because they're it's not to treat acne prone skin
Hey! I liked this video! I want to mention to those in the comments that everyone's skin is different, so while one product may work for her it may not work for you. I use Dove and I've been doing great so far, so I would say don't knock it until you try it.
Hi, I’m new to your channel but I was wondering if you could do an update on your chemical peel? Like looking back on it was it worth it? Did you see a difference? Did you have to take off work? All that good stuff!
Thanks for the review! I’m still looking for the best thing for my skin. So far fresh cut aloe helps me the most but it’s so expensive. Do you change your pillow cases every two to three days too? That helps me too.
Its been 1 months using this dove soap n its too good..no facewash suits me n my mom told me to use dove soap n i swear my skin has become so glowy, no more pimples.
The dove soap can build up on your skin. So if you put moisturizer on, your skin can‘t absorve it. I would recommend you to use a peeling once or twice a week if you use the soap. Sorry for my bad English. Maybe it works for you
Best recommended to use the original ‘white’ dove beauty bar. Not any of the other ones. Also everyone’s skin is different. What works for someone else will not always work for you and your skin.
@@sinaapinaa I got pimple on my chin not pure if it's dove or nivea soft creme only two things I m using currently and a weird tiny pimple melasna like on left cheek 😣
@@sinaapinaa nah dove soap doesnt build up at all according to actual dermatologists (including mine. that's how I started using it. it's not like regular soap (which isnt supposed to be used on the face anyways). It only builds up if you don't rince your face properly with water (but that's common sense. who on earth doesnt know how to remove soap with water afterwards lol). But just like any face wash it works for some people and doesnt for others. if you have super oily skin your own oil buildup will clog the pores because dove isn't that stripping.
Dove is good as body soap for me,, when I use it on my face, it makes my white heads soft on side of my nose and I rub it with towel and removed but its not enough for the whole face. I suggest try using peeling gel in a right way to unclog the pores and wash with dove soap.
Do you use warm or cold water to rinse off your face? The dove original soap looks like it’s clearing up the blemish patches on your face a little .. Maybe you can a ice roller over that then massage a serum on face …
I use dove soap once-twice a day with a washcloth to exfoliate cuz i got facial eczama and acne prone skin. Literally nothing else in the "sensitive" skin-care line at the store works. It's either pimples or dead raw skin that i have to take benodryl for. SO FRUSTRATING.

@Lianadecker hello, I wanna ask something about acids. I'm just 17 years old and my pores are not so small, so it disturbs me and I wanna use acids. I've tried kinda saliysilic and glycolic acids but I never felt a burning feeling it was kinda I put water on my face. I wanna use TCA but not sure if I so something wrong. Should I use or not? I'll be so glad if you answer it, thank you.
@@denizdeniz7063 you're so young that I would continue using the milder acids, just make sure that you're using them right (e.g. using them regularly, and especially letting them work for some time rather than lathering some cream straight on top and thus neutralizing the ph - but don't overdo it!). The most important thing to remember is sunscreen! But really, if you don't have acne or something similar, you really have no reason to use stronger products when you're so young. In the worst case scenario you'll chemically burn yourself or age your skin faster. The best thing to concentrate on is cleansing and moisturizing. But I have found niacinamide (not an acid) to be really helpful in improving my skin's overall condition and many people praise it as well. Sorry for butting in!
