I LOVED this film and especially seeing the Hunting Provosts. In the Cadets in the 1960s, nearly all my "Air Experience" flights were in the Chipmunk, but I once had a short flight in a Provost at the time they were being phased out for the Jet Provost.
I remember it being heavier on the controls than the "Chippie", but always remembered it.

@@JoluqaMalta-w5r I did, sir. I've seen it many times, and it is always a most welcome "blast from the past" that I grew up in and loved.
Even the irregular flying, and buzzing. Hahaha A friend of mine, sadly long gone, had an old WW2 Tiger Moth which I'd regularly have flights in. He once asked me to point out my then Girlfriend's house as we flew over, then peeled off and proceeded to buzz the house until all the neighbours came out🤣🤣. Would be immediately arrested these days.
Another time, we flew down the old Main Runway at Thorpe Abbotts to do a VERY low level flypast followed by a breathtaking climb back up. We flew SO low, I thought he was going to land, and we were looking UP at the people ON the top floor balcony of the Control Tower🤣🤣🤣 WONDERFUL times ! and this film ALWAYS reminds me, so thank you

Oh jeez!!! When I joined the RAF we were supposed to go on an air experience flight and it was supposed to be either a varsity or valetta. Anyway it never happened for some reason but sometime after I was posted to my first base RAF Hendon and one of the guys arranged a flight from RAF Northolt as an AEF.... and we all got onto an HS748 part of the Queens flight doing a test run up to RAE Bedford... We all were excited about going on this particular flight..... Until the captain had taken off was heading towards Bedford and turned off the starboard engine or at least feathered the prop.... The worried looks on the faces of the guys on that side was so funny. I'd practiced a no power landing in a Chipmunk a few years before and survived so this was nothing to worry about having only one RR Dart carrying us around. I'd been to Woodford near Manchester where they built the 748 and knew they could easily fly on one engine to land at the nearest emergency airfield but that was a real air exxperience. Thanks again for some great pictures and vids on your website and channel.

If it was meant to be a comedy it certainly succeeded. The number of errors is enormous . The main one being the reluctant stroppy student taking off in one Vampire, then cruising in another and then landing in yet another Vampire.😂😂😂
