Great video. I have done several backpacks in the Big Ditch. Special shout out to Rich Rudow for supplying many pack rafts to the RIC International Canyoneering Rendezvous in Ouray 2015. Got to do several runs down the Uncompahgre River. Rich also taught an American canyoneering techniques class. Great event.

It scares me that my kids might not be able to experience the untouched beauty of nature.
For the record: there are areas of the canyon that are no fly zones for complete tranquility on 'yer backpackin' trip. Separation canyon(river mile 240) is the end of the national park, there's still plenty of canyon that is not national park where commercial activities in the air and on the river occur.
