You should check out Zakir Khan's 'Kabhi Gaana Kabhi Logic - Tip Tip Barsa Paani'. It's the first thing of his I ever saw, and it just cracked me up! Plus, there's the added bonus of OSR having already reacted to the song being roasted. 😊

This guy is the best Indian comedian at the moment, hands down. Lots of wordplays, with subtle cultural references, and near impossible to catch them without knowing the language. But kudos to the subtitles and reactions!
Zakhir Khan is as good of a storyteller as Vir Das is.. both of them have something that resonates to the heart on a different level. These 2 Vir and Zakir are the best stand up comedians india has ever given to this generation.

He is a great storyteller. Unfortunately, his stories are very relatable to small town folks, or people who grew up in a middle class background. It doesn't translate well for foreign audiences. For example, imagine this story being told by an American kid, who grew up in a catholic school and thus has no idea how to interact with big city girls.
First ,this is great in Hindi. Subtitles lost 70% of fun Second , it's a classic and was came out years ago when standup comedy was just getting recognized in here. Third, he is a great storyteller

This is the best the sub can do. Most objects are gender neutral in English language. You can't expect him to translate 'kanghi' as 'combess' in English.
