Hi Nick Thank you for posting such amazing videos, which makes designing really easy, washing out all the queries. I request you to please post a tutorial of hoop skirt. Thanks in advance.
hi nick .u explains so good .can u plz suggest me that which company's dress form should i buy and which size it should be for indian dresses . i want to start my own clothing line. but i also want dress form with affordable price
Hey Nick! I have a request. As much as I love your draping tutorials, I can not try them out in real life. A lot of your viewers do not have dress forms. I am sure a lot of your viewers will appreciate it if you make atleast a few pattern making tutorials without the use of a dress form.
Anushka Mehrotra there's a site where you insert your measurements and can print a custom dressform pattern, sew it, stuff it and prop it up...its like $24...once I remember the name I'll come back and post it
There is also a T-Shirt hack that you can use and it will cost you probably the same as the dress form below. But the measurements would be exact since you are using your own body. It's made with an old t-shirt and duct tape. There are a TON of tutorials on pinterest and youtube! You can probably just look up "T-shirt dress form diy" and I am sure a bunch will pop up. It won't be as pretty as a traditional fabric dress form, but it gets the job done!
