Fab new truck! I totally understand the need for a bigger set up if you're to keep up the work/camping life. I camped in my 29 foot trailer last year in Port Aransas and made mention to the camp hosts that one day I may want to work as one. They looked at my trailer and said, you'll need a much bigger rig. They all had HUGE rigs. Nope. I really don't need bigger. But then I say that as a person who hasn't spent more than 4 days with another person or 2 in my trailer. Looking forward to your next adventures 🤠

Congrats on your new truck. The perk of 4WD is being able to assist you to get out of the trouble 2WD gets you into. Investing into Trex recovery boards is a lifesaver, too. Hopefully you'll never need them, but a must, if you go over-landing and a portable air compressor to air your tires back up after being on sand is handy, too, when you get yourselves back on the asphalt. Big truck, still a very small camper lol! Should be less than 100 sq ft. We love tiny camper living just need more amenities to continue this lifestyle

Our Jeep patriot did not have four-wheel-drive, so we were happy to upgrade! Gas does cost more, but considering it is our rent, it still works for us!

I love those Oberlander truck inserts I don’t think my Tacoma is set up to carry that kind of weight I sure liked them
They make all kind of pickup bed campers now, I know there are a few companies that make pop up campers for tacomas, especially for over landing!
