When he sings this song and comes to 'Let Your Soul Take You Where You Long to BE, the note on that word sent shocks through my body. Emmet's voice is pure gold. He is a great performer and an all round really nice man. I do find the conductor's backless dress to be distracting. She obviously wore it for effect, but the concert is not about her.
Beautiful performance by Mr. Cahill but I'm sorry to say it was distracting to see the conductor in that outfit that looked like a glaring hole on the stage. This is something I've noticed that some women do seemingly unaware of how unprofessional they look. That is not to detract from Emmet's beautiful interpretation of Phantom but, obviously, staging matters or the majority of people would not make the effort to put on their best appearance. Likewise, my comment is not meant to be mean but constructive.

Somewhat unfortunate choice of an open back on the conductor's dress. As she moved, it kept drawing attention away from the music.....
