Andy Bell is hands down up there with the best singers. Such a pure and expressive tone. The depth of emotion, whether up beat pop, or more dirge like songs like this and Always, he is great because he's authentic. I bought this single when it was released. I was a teenager at the time. It always spoke to my heart. Love Andy and Vince. They have created such a magnificent body of work. This song is definitely one of my favourites. Chills. ❤️
1:06 a couple of friends and I singing our hearts out...blimey, we were young back then...and slim! Filmed at Oxford Apollo during the Tiny Tour; we’d travelled down from the north east that morning then back again after the show - I have no idea why as they played Newcastle the same tour, probably an idea born from a few small sweet sherries - it was a very memorable trip. When they played ‘Grace’ the building shook from the bass. It is to this day a gig I still look back on very fondly and being in the music industry, I’ve been to well over a thousand.
When good-old 80s erasure ‘returned to top form’ in the late 90s... it felt wonderful that a band which were a soundtrack to my teens were also there for me in my 20s.

In my arms Is the best song if Erasure, in my personal point of View. It is perfect.!!! The sound, the voice, the lyrics. It Is a masterpiece. I was 11 years old in 1997, when I listened this song and became my favourite since then, It Is my señal song. This song has been in my playlist for More than 20 years. Great job AND thank You Vince & Andy.

Such a powerful and beautiful melody, I recall the US video of a pretty lad climbing a buildingg, it was nice.
When I was 16 I saw Erasure at Leeds Town and Country Club (supported by Dubstar), with my Dad. In the era of Britpop they were distinctly uncool for my age-group, but they are such a talented, underrated band. I remember Andy telling us that they would be filming - I guess this is the live footage shown here. Ah, the nostalgia! However, *that* dress (2:10) still haunts my nightmares twenty years on.
It is safe to say that this has got to be the most underrated song of the entire 90s. What an amazing tune and the saddest part is lot of ppl never even heard of it

Went to see Erasure in Apollo Manchester about 1990. The whole stage production fab ... fantastic songs, & musicality , and my nephew who wanted to see them cried towards the end ... He was only about nine years old.
