Quinn is a very good QB. However, Quinn has short comings that cannot be fixed. He is slow to adjust in the pocket and he is slow running once he leaves the pocket. Also he cannot throw the deep pass with any consistency. This allows good defenses move their defensive backs up closer to the line and allows them to play more aggressively against those short passes, and against the runs. Since Texas is a good team overall, this weakness in Quinn's game only shows up against elite defenses, like Georgia and Tennessee. It is lucky Texas is not playing Tennessee as they would not match up well.
What game were you warching??? Tom Brady would have sucked if he faced the same pressure ewers did against this sec defense. As expected, tx will never be successful in the sec.
@@Los-pf3bi So far only Georgia has stood up to Texas and there is a good chance we get a second shot at Georgia post season. Look out SEC Texas is here.
@philmorris8862 UGA did a lot more than just stand up to tx. They beat them! 😂 "So far" implies that they've got several sec wins under the belt already when all they've beaten are a wannabe sec team and the worst sec team this season. If the season ended today, tx would play against UGA in the sec chamionship. Unfortunately for the longhorns, they still have several real sec defenses to play against. We'll see if they are still in the hunt for an sec championship in a few weeks.
@@philmorris8862 You sir, are the epitome of an ID10Tango. I would like to say that you think too highly of yourself and your conference, but the term "think" doesn't apply to an ID10Tango. Hook 'em!
I'm not sure the high defensive confidence is warranted, considering there were a lot of drops by Georgia, Beck wasn't pressured all that much, & Etienne seemed to have a lot of running lanes open.
I am so worried about the interior D-line next year. When I look at the roster, we only have Bledsoe, Melvin, Bryant, and January, and I'm not even sure if Sydir will be with the team. None of these guys have played significant snaps this year. When I went into Rivals, other teams already had offers for JUCO 4 stars in the portal and nothing from Texas. WTF!
What sucks for all the rest of the team is that everything can hinge on which QE shows up.
To be fair, that's every team

Quinn, needs to use his legs more. That's why Georgia contained our offense.

JUCO 4*'s arent what we need. What we need are 4-5*'s from P4 with at least a little experience and want to play for a contender.
