Just played my first round with the qi10 irons.. I've played about 2.5-3 years. Not even kidding.. got a hole-in-one on the 17th hole, 140 yards. Have 5 witnesses, a certificate framed, and free golf vouches to prove it. Love these irons!!
@@tomsanger5548 obviously, but you don’t see that as pretty good? I’ve played golf for a few years, and I usually shoot around 90-95.. I’m not that great, but I’d say I’m average. Since I got the irons, I’ve now shot about 15 rounds in a row between 84-89. Good enough for you? And, I played T300 irons before
@@fcktrouba3310 I don't see getting a hole in one as a test of how good irons are. There have been advances in irons to a degree over the last couple decades but not like with drivers. I got down to a plus .6 handicap with my best score a 64 & have used Adams Tight Lies tour irons for the past few years that I got at Goodwill for $11.99 for the whole set in great shape including the grips. Finally recently bought a used set of PXG's that are perfect for my stats & they are sweeter due to being forged but other than that have not improved my game. The point is to work on one's swing. I could put your T300's in the hands of a scratch player & they would do just fine with them. I played with a guy who had a beautiful set of Bobby Jones irons from the 1930's or 40's. I guess he was having fun with a retro set but hit the irons beautifully & they sounded so pure. Of course they don't compare with modern irons but it illustrated getting lessons & practicing a good swing trumps spending thousands on new miracle equipment. If you can afford both then great but most people go for the new equipment rather than lessons & putting those lessons into practice on the range. Worked with a friend on mine on the range for a couple years & he went from shooting in the high 90's or more to shooting an even par 70 one day. He got the fundamentals in correctly & has been using the same set of Mizuno's for the last 15 years seeing no improvement in other irons. Hilarious that I found him a KZG driver with a Fukikura Fit-On shaft at Goodwill for $1.98 & he used it for years long & dead straight in the fairway. Finally graduated to a TM M-4 with a $400 Graphite Design shaft with moderate improvement in length.
Personally, as a fellow golf professional, I always look forward to your reviews. I would spend a great deal of time at 2nd Swing but The problem is that I live on the Northern Border of Vermont and Quebec and you are in Minnesota. Ignore the “Nay Sayers”. Keep up the great content!
Honestly, these irons were everything they said they were. I could have purchased any set I wanted to this evening, and numbers with these were the best. Almost 190 with a 7 iron with a 7100 spin rate. I could pull them left but had to hang on and try to do so. Right miss was not there. Even hitting it on the toe was still a straight flight. Lost a little distance with a toe hit but nothing close to what irons do.
I just got my set of Qi irons and noticed the hosel/neck of the 5-8 irons is different and jagged/edged. The 9 and wedges have a smooth hosel/neck. Take the 8 and 9 iron out and swing them in the air. You'll hear a very audible difference between the 2. It's almost like there's a lot more drag in the air with the 5-8 irons, than the 9 and wedges. Anyone else notice this? I noticed it immediately like something was wrong or loose...
Love watching these videos! When thinking about hybrids… would you suggest getting hybrids that match the iron set or match the woods? I hit the AI smoker driver the best, but hit the qi10 irons the best.
Quality irons haven't really changed much in the last few years or even decades unlike drivers. By delofting where you in reality are hitting a 5 iron branded as a 6 gives the illusion the shots are going farther. Sweet spots on forged cavities are quite forgiving & of course they feel forged pure. Just saw a set of very old Hogans in a Goodwill. Players would be wise to use these during practice sessions in order to better find the dime sized sweet spot & then go to their modern irons for the course with the massive cavity back sweet spots. If you can get it down to puring the Hogans during practice the modern irons will be so much easier to hit.
Very strong lofted for sure. But there are a lot of golfers who generate a ton of spin with irons, cutting across the ball, that actually need lower lofts with irons. However, if you struggle to get the ball in the air already, you'll definitely need more loft
Interesting descriptions..., eliminate "cut" spin..., not draw-biased but anti-fade..., anti-slice..., I'll add some words too.., like nebulous, amorphous, vague..., the only thing I got was Stealth line was a failure.
So let's see... these are game improvement irons and you have a low handicap, who would never even use these irons, and can hit a 7iron 200 yards. This makes no sense. Get a 15 handicaper to try these types of clubs. You guys have to be smarter than this.

THAT'S AWESOME!!! Congrats on the hole-in-one! 🎉
You do realize you could have gotten a hole in one with a 20 year old set as well.

I hope you bought a round of drinks in the clubhouse? congrats!
I got fitted for them Saturday. Really great feel nice dispersion, good distance. Now just have to wait for them to arrive
I do love the chemistry between these two! Every time I see Kevin in a video I know I’m gonna have a good time

Really enjoy having Kevin doing the testing. 👍

Awesome!! Great feedback and glad to hear you've got a new set that works
Kevin, Which iron do you prefer? Ai Smoke or Qi 10? Thanks, Joe

Hi i am just wondering how i click my taylor made max driver after setting it
Which driver model is it?
Which is better. Pxg gen 5 iron or qi 10 iron in your opinion

I have the Stealth irons and love them BUT i think i may love the Qi irons more lol wow soooo tempting nice review cheers from Vulcan Canada

These are stupidly strong lofted. We’re moving to a 5 bag wedge set up soon.

I weakened my stealth irons 2-3 degrees and now they stop on a dime.
So I usually shoot low 80’s. Was it a good option to get these clubs?
I’d say you should go for a 790 over these
@@atamagashock yeah I wish I got the 790s instead honestly. A big regret of mine
@SlycoopBeats really? Damn... I shoot around mid 80s as well and figured these would be perfect for me, but perhaps 790s might be better
@@marked4death076 I won’t lie. I over exaggerated a tad bit lmao. I like the Qi irons a lot. Just wish the spin rate was higher
@@marked4death076 but I’d prefer to move onto to the blades or player irons after I improve my game a little more
please compare Qi iron vs AI smokedddddd
Oh we will do that for sure

I understand this is not the opinion of everyone but for me the price of clubs have just gone way to far. .
Please compare these to the QI HL Irons
its literally the same as last years
Hey, they changed the badge!
And has been since oh idk M1 in 2016 😂
Not even close.
The guy on the left just loves the camera.
LMAO. Dude, its a second hand golf store..
LMFAO
qi10 is a diff design stealth 2 and them irons are just the stealth sim2 ones haha 😂
Which are pretty much the M4’s which are pretty much the M2’s 😅
First
This Qi line is a step backward (design wise) for TaylorMade. They look generic.
