I don't know how far ahead is your knowledge on the game. Based from what you said in the end of the video, you filmed this when it came out. But some more tips.
1) Arrows on traits - it indicates if it's the strong, weak, normal. It depends on the character you're using. Ex. Archer is weak on blocking and strong on different traits. One arrow = normal. Two arrow = Strong. Diagonal arrow = Weak.
2) On the stuff you've unlock that you don't understand. Those are new traits on abilities you can choose. Speaking on traits, weapon proficiency, proficient stance, dedication and ability have multiple options to choose from per rank. When these traits come out, you can right click on them to see the other options. So you can customize your character and abilities more.
3) Expanding on #2. General traits like damage, attack speed, crit rate and etc. affects everything, main weapon and abilities. This matters because certain option might not be the best choice. Ex. if you already have a high crit rate because of items plus crit rate general trait. Maybe getting crit rate for your ability does nothing because you already got 100%.
4) I don't know if you have notice but abilities have "ability type". You can see them on the left side before you pick an ability. And you can review them by looking at "traits and abilities" page. I mention this because weapon proficiency and proficient stance would have stats with either (main weapon) or a different stat on a ( ____ ). For the case of the warlock it was (summon) tag. You keep getting the -20% damage (main weapon) and +20% Spawns/Projectiles (Summon). If you had known that Astronomer's Orbs has "summon" ability type. You could have gotten more orbs but not the damage reduction. If you don't mind getting spoiled, then you can check the ability type and what ability type each character can provide in this link.

EDIT:
5) Your main weapon has the same ability tag. You can see them when you hover at the character at camp. That's why the +20% spawns/projectiles affected your main weapon.

@@OHRyePlays Ok, glad i could help. Personally try to focus on getting all the potions. Understanding this game system along with potions could interesting builds. When i got back to this game, there is achievement that requires me to use no abilities for 30 mins. So i use the potions to build a super strong main weapon swordsman build, where each swing is like a third of the screen. This is the same type of content that you do on your YAZS video. Looking forward what builds you can do when you completely understand everything.
The amulet at the top of the level up bar point to where you can find potion ingredients to make new potions
32:00 You can choose a Mark where you choose your equipment. click on the X like if you choose an armor piece when on the equipment tab.
The warlock is a lot of fun. Still workin on getting all the gear for a proper loadout.
You need to look again at the amulet, there are arrows pointing out from it on the left side of the screen
Thanks for pointing it out. I guess when I looked it was paused and just thought it was a glow effect or something haha.
Hmmm, okay I'll give Warlock another shot.. so far, my favourite is Shield Maiden. 🤓
Shield Maiden is cool, I also like the best hunter.
Astronomer's Orbs count as summons, so they sync up with the Warlock's abilities (like multistrike increasing the number of summons). I've had a run with the inner orbit upgrade and about 10 on each orbit, at least.

15:44 you can learn +10% damage passive back as collateral?
It's crazy to see how hard the game can be if you're not maxed out on blessing and don't have all the extra exp from quests. I remember this map being super tough when it came out but i honestly expected it to be easy now xD
EDIT: Nevermind i just realised the only summons you have is your main weapon and the ring, so all that damage loss you took from demo exchange hit you really hard xD

I would assume any fire attack would work.
once u know how the amulet works (top left) its best to use the wiki and hunt all the herbs and just get em and end the run. otherwise they are a pain and the flasks are super useful. also no need to rush to the well at the end u choose when u leave
