You guys should do a Golf It!-equivalent to Lindsay Wins in GTA; One-Stroke Jeff, where Jeff gets one stroke to attempt and the rest of you try to knock his ball the rest of the way to a hole-in-one using your own.

next time this is played, "no reset penalty" should be turned on so that ryan can hit "F" and rest to keep bipping everyone without losing the last position he hit from and without gaining an extra stroke.

At around 7 minutes the question of is there any way to look around? There is two ways the zoom out option as stated shortly there after the question was brought up or I think the default key to look around the map but it’s like noclip mode is “V” where you can go anywhere in the map to see where other holes are or to see any hidden holes.

Okay Ryan, I'm only about 10 minutes in, but I think you're hitting far to hard and the game cant keep up with the frames. I noticed that when you hit a bit softer the game has a chance to register the hit and allow for bipage. But when you Godzilla hit it the game has no time to register so it just phases through the person you're trying to bip.
You're probably right although it is a bit disappointing. Bippping harder is almost always better. It does seem to be a running theme in this game to have a poor physics engine, not interpolating between frame may be the main cause of it. I wouldn't be surprised if that's also the reason why balls sometimes bounce of walls at such weird angles
It's mainly because of the trail. Trails in this game drop the performance and cause the physics system to take shortcuts that lead to errors.
@@AlphaOmega1237 so essentially what I said, but with a source being pinpointed? I dont want to say much because I'm no expert on this subject but when working on unity we are taught that a game will reference a frame so often which is how it can determine when colliders and mesh colliders impact and from there using its referenced frames and algorithms it determines what the best result should be essentially how the ball SHOULD bounce after hitting something. If you hit to hard paired with your trails causing the game to stutter or just not work efficiently then that could all contribute to the bips flat out failing. Right? Like said I'm not an expert so your guesses are as good if not better than mine.
@@AlphaOmega1237 Do you have a source for this. It could very well be true given this game isn't the best made sometimes but as an amateur game maker myself this should never happen. Anything visual should be on a separate game loop to the physics engine so that drops in performance have no effect on the physics and therefore the actual gameplay and only on the visual output. This is why a game running at a shocking FPS should still run correctly, you just can't see it. As an amateur game developer, this is something I learned early on so it's a bit disappointing if it's not how this game works
Which is funny cuz if you go back to some of the first few golf it videos, they kinda pieced together that trails and hats messed things up (there were ALOT of times where like Ryan or Jeremy would hit it at a wall for like a rebound, and the ball would bounce off in a way that made ZERO sense... Think they eventually realized it was Ryans bat wings hat/trail)
