I would say its about the feeling of being trapped in our minds our conception of this universe. Also you could say your wings have been clipped and you really dont exist since what you really are is probably the universe. Your ego is what enables you to play this game of life, yet it "imprisons" you in your mind and space and time. The vibes i would get from this on acid would probably not be that bad since suicide/dying/flying is comparable to what is called "ego death" when you realize your ego doesnt exist and what we all really are is this universe. So meditation and psychedelics are a/my way of flying away, my way of getting away from "the devil"/negative thoughts and emotions.
The part with flying away through meditation/psychedelics is probably just my interpretation, but i think the rest is definently a part of what they meant with that fly away song.

Recently dropped 2C-B and had a weed edible and afterwards couldn’t stop thinking about this song and how this explains my trip entirely. Felt as if I experienced bliss and heaven and then experienced fear and the purest form of anxiety towards the end of the trip. Really taught me a lot about myself.
Btw I did 2c and an edible in the Lake District and it felt like a fantasy world. Amazing experience and would recommend going there to trip if you’re in the UK.
