Congrats on premiering the first macro video of a functioning SLGA007! My man here is as professional and a gent, making calls to help me secure this timepiece for my wedding anniversary when allocations were drying up nationwide during only the first business hour after release. The wife and I are DELIGHTED. Don't think you'll find this much dedication elsewhere; who else would pull a caffeine-fueled all-nighter because he was so eager to showcase it yet also deliver to a customer ASAP? And they're such a large dealer that you'll be hard pressed to find someone with more GS allocations to begin with. Call this man and he'll take care of you. Thanks again, Chris!
That dial is gorgeous. I'm wearing the Omega Aqua Terra, green dial. My fist luxury watch purchase last year. I just picked up the Aqua Terra world timer last month for my birthday.

make a video with your mobile outside and upload, not many vids on the SLGA007 u'd get many views. I'm only 60% sure I want to buy it because i got the SLGA001 which got the same movement. White birch or SLGA007 that's the question....decisions decisions. I looked at Chrono24 and seems to be some naughty mini flippers around already selling it for a bit over retail haha
@@Translation-in-Malaysia I have the Snowflake and that White Birch is a great watch. My only problem with it is the warranty. It should be at least 5 years.
This 007 is really lovely in the metal. Last night RedbarDC gathering not 1 but 2 were present...twins. Yes Chris it was R & M. The SBGA427 is on the winder as i wearing my Hammy Khaki Field piece at the moment.
Yes. For all the effort they put into the dials, the bracelet and clasp are very lacking. This is completely unacceptable on watches in the $10,000 range. Rolex makes much better bracelets on watches that are thousands less.
This one is stainless steel, has a darker dial and is a limited edition from years ago which is sold out at this point. The slga019 has a more visually textured dial, is titanium and is in stock now.
I think that is all about which speaks to you more and what is more important to you. Does getting more in quality than what you pay for, and being able to purchase something readily resonate with you?
Seems like an incredible watch, you not only got a fantastic dial but it doesnt compromise legibility which the white birch does a bit. GS really ought to not make this a LE but a standard piece in their catalogue to rival the datejust. I may have to be forced to buy this one. :-)
@@bipinchandra8080 Depends on the country. Many dealers in Asia I talked to don't even know how many they will get as GS Japan hasn't confirmed the alloted quantities yet. My guess is that what is sold out already is the first lot, not all 2021 pieces.
@@MTCBKK I don't think that that's the case here. Many dealers who'd promised allotments to their clients had to cancel because they over booked and boutiques were supplied the stock first.
Great video very well made! However the watch 🤦♂️ Grand Seiko for when you want to pay Omega Prices for a watch that barely can stand toe to toe with a Hamilton.
Yes OK. But why? The movement is world class accuracy same with the power reserve. The dial is pretty trippy of you ask me, imitating the waves and the deep blue. The finishing is typical grand seiko, that is quite impressive. Considering that the price is similar to a Rolex oyster perpetual, what makes this BS compared to the other timepiece I mentioned for example ?

if they tapered this bracelet to 18 and had micro adjust, would probably be the perfect watch. i do miss some lume as well
