A healing choon for lost ravers. This masterpiece is getting me through a very bad patch in my life at the moment. Sitting in my shed with this on full smoking a fat one. Peace
Not just an acid track - any quality track; almost as if time simultaneously slows down and speeds up, depending on your condition and usually someplace post 5am, you just gotta love it! 😃
to me, this is the track I listen to post workout, a little tired and just sitting outside in the sun. Headphones in, feeling the endorphin rush. class
I'd like to thank the universe for the way this track has found it's way through the cosmos, drifting upon some ort cloud, and, in turn, incarnating my soul.
heard this for the first time 10 am in a house party during the pandemic. last song played. with the ending pads cranked up, mixed with the crackling of the vinyl. perfect ending
@@aazz18 yep found a copy of Melchester EP. At the time of posting, the only wax available was 4 of the original (or repressed? Not sure) slabs at £100 each...hence my comment.
this reminds me of traveling alone in Italy for a month in 2018. I used to listen to this song everyday, but the strongest memory that comes up is of traveling in a hot summer day through a golden wheat field in a empty and very old FIAT train with only two wagons and wooden benches
Had the same memories man. I remember discovering this song on a Mix on Soundcloud (sadly it got taken down) and I was cruising on some Backroads in Switzerland on some mountain sideroads. I remember seeing Foxes, Deers and other animals crossing the streets with the serene snowy surroundings and a nightsky filled with stars.
@@flame2106 It's obviously a tongue in cheek comment, ya know, a bit of fun.... if you can't think of anything nice or positive to say, then say nothing :)
Every now and then I recall that there’s this beauty of a track waiting for me to be listened to. As soon as I type Ro… it pops up thankfully 💪I’ll never forget the name of this one, majestic stuff‼️for the love of acid 😎
It's a weird old tale this one, much of which many of you have recounted. However, there's even more to it than you might imagine. That original Emotinium track by Ceephax is an utter classic. That other track called Emotinium by Roy Of The Ravers is also an utter classic. Then there's the Myoptik remix commissioned by Roy Of The Ravers. Plus there's the connection between the 3 artists. In 2008 Ceephax performed at Bloc Weekend more than once, landing his legendary Ceephax bingo. On the Saturday morning Myoptik and Ceephax bumped into each other outside the go-karts. Myoptik had a bottle of rum in his hand and Ceephax gratefully partook in the morning celebration when Myoptik handed him the bottle. Myoptik was in his usual yellow uniform, Ceephax was cracking jokes. All was good. However, that night, about 12 hours later, Myoptik saw Ceephax again and he was distraut. Someone had stolen his 303 from his chalet during an evening of revelry. Truly difficult times and very sad. After the weekend Roy Of The Ravers lent Ceephax his 303 for a while, the very one that Ceephax went on to use to make Emotinium. Later Roy Of The Ravers went on to play at Myoptik's 'PVC' event in Leicester where they shared the stage with their acid sounds. There was a previous 'PVC' by Myoptik in 2003 that Ceephax was due to play at, but the venue got closed down on the night of the event, so Myoptik refunded Ceephax's train ticket. A non-event. However, before that, in 2002, Ceephax played at another Myoptik affiliated event in Leicester called Auxilec organised by Steve Morgan, after the night Steve and Ceephax went to the after party at Myoptik's house where they looked at a homemade book of cut out pictures and stories made by Heinz Jaki-Volvo and Maggie Festering Cheese-Lowt which had weird images of pussy cats inside. So, as you can see there is a real continium to Emotinium......The Myoptik remix was finally released on the Learn To Brew with Roy Of The Ravers and Myoptik in 2019, it quickly sold out, and will be getting a vinyl re-release in 2020. Would you like to hear the Myoptik remix of Roy's Emotinium.....?

@@neptune1411 you can only do it in song mode because it's 4 patterns long. I used the tb-03 over my other options (tt-303 and td-3) because of the screen. Just makes it easier to know where you're at. Just been redoing it on the td-3 in the desktop editor and that would have probably been easier. I originally started doing it in android Caustic3 but that was mainly just to get the timing and slides right.
Mind sharing the pattern in text form or something? I'm still learning my TD3 and this is one of the best, most intricate 303 lines ever, would love to pick it apart.
If you're into unique acid sounds you should check out Charanjit Singh's 10 Ragas to a Disco Beat. th-cam.com/video/sB4RYBpwV0A/w-d-xo.html Basically a Bollywood film score producer got his hands on a 303 and 808 before they hit the American market and he made acid techno out of traditional Indian music. Very cool and alien sounding stuff.
But don't start with a huge hit, right. Just a bump and then stop taking it as soon as it's taught you what it can. Coz it's addictive and can damage your bladder. Just saying.
