  • I Received Stoke Voltaics Nomad Cooking System and I am going to see if its a viable option for replacing camp stoves and camp fire cooking. This will be a game changer in the overall cooking options when dealing with fire bans and other flame restrictions.

I !ov e both the kettle and the nomad..Recently was.in the forest with a total ban on propane or wood fires. Still got to enjoy bacon and eggs using the monad system.

Those are the kinds of situations that this setup are perfect for. I use them all the time now, I will still use propane where I can at times though. Thanks for watching!

That's an interesting cooking system for sure.
I too am moving towards everything electric for camping.
Started out with a Jackery 1000 several years ago, and since moved to EcoFlow for more versatility.
Watch the sales on EcoFlow products and they will soon breed like rabbits.
Currently sporting two Delta 2 units, a Delta 2 Smart Extra battery, two 220 watt bifacial folding solar panels, and recently the 800 watt alternator charger.
    Epic charging speed while driving!
I can effectively recharge all three 1000 watt EcoFlow units from dead 4 hours faster than my single Jackery 1000 from dead.
That's not even counting that the system can also take up to 500 watts of solar at the same time.
I do have an additional 200 watts of rigid panels over the rear bed rack.
I also recently added a 1000 watt water heater for a bucket. It will heat two gallons of 60°F water to 106°F in 12 minutes for a great shower.

I too have 2 Delta 2's with Smart Battery mounted inside the truck, just received my 800 watt alternator charger, I will be installing it this weekend so stay tuned for that video. Camplux sent me a propane water heater that I cant wait to try out, I think I have an interesting install idea. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Interesting system, and am seeing a couple of other YT'ers reviewing it also. Is it not possible to make it a DC powered system, or would that not supply enough wattage for cooking? I'm still stingy with my power useage (EF Delta 2 Max currently), as I never have shore power at the particular sites I always reserve. Still cooking/heating water with propane here 😎.
Saw you mentioned getting a water heater source soon, which should make for a good video review 👍. I'll finally get to "field test" the BougeRV portable water heater (washing dishes for now) in an upcoming outing in a few days, with 3 nights planned at Mammoth Cave campgrounds.

@@retnav92 I am not sure about it being making it a DC powered system, I have the Jackery's just for the cooking and water boiling purposes. If I had to tap into the power from the Ecoflows, I could, but my trips are pretty short so the 2 Jackery's should be able to supply all I need for cooking. As soon as we get a break in the heat down here, I will be heading into the mountains to test my theory on a all electric trip. Stay tuned because I have a bunch of new gadgets that I will be doing videos on.

@@adventureroamx👍Will keep an eye out on notifications for upcoming gadget reviews. The "brown truck" guy delivered the upgraded 23zero Transit Cover (2.0 model) I ordered for my rtt. New cover has quick-release buckles, eliminating dealing with the 4 straps that go over the cover and D-ring cinching-up. Should be a time-saver when covering the folded rtt. Going from side-to-side dealing with the straps and D-rings and such wears my 70 yr old a$$ out, lol.

I guess I'm so old, that I do everything old school!
If I want electric stuff, I just take my travel trailer. I go camping (I hate the term over landing) to get away from modern conveniences. JMHO
