I can't describe how it felt to realize that this theme, and _most_ Meta Knight themes, are based off Kirby Super Star's "My Friend and the Sun" - a song that plays after Meta Knight _fails._ Kirby's single-handedly destroyed his Battleship Halberd, and just rode off into the sunset on a Wheelie that had been powering the ship's core, and the song plays. Meta Knight turned the song that signified him losing everything into the song that showcases his honor, pride, willpower, and strength. He is quite literally using his failures to push himself forward.
