I plugged it into my Asus x550 TUF gaming plus motherboard. There was no way on Gods Earth's I could get this card to work. Do I have to go into my BIOS to configure it or enable it ? All and any sound that comes out of your speakers or headset will be affected. Pitch is accomplished via an audio equalizer. Some sound cards come with one with your computer hardware and some don't.

I keep on setting my Firewire device. To 48 000 hz 16 Bit. But inside Windows the settings keep changing, I do not want that. All in all it works pretty however i get to go back. And set it again & again. It s a Focusrite device.

Sound quality can be improved by a few things: 1) Upgrading to better external speakers. 2) Beats headphones - solo wireless. 3) Upgrading your sound quality by upgrading your sound/audio drivers. Go to your computers manufactures website and search for and install latest audio drivers for Windows 10 for your computer brand and model. 4) Adjusting your sound settings as shown in my video.

Try adjusting these items in different combinations and see if it helps: Noise suppression, Echo cancellation on and off and adjust your Mic Boost to different levels. Also try a different Mic.

Have you tried updating your sound adapter driver to the latest updated version? Also on some systems a third party sound app could be installed and might be conflicting with your audio output. Check Programs and Features to see if you have another sound app installed that is giving you issues.
Enhancement tab is dependent on what recording devices (mic) are installed in your system. Not all allow enhancements settings adjustments. A lot of analog mics allow enhancements where a lot of USB mics don't.
OK LISTEN, if you have made your audio deeper or another sound right click "speakers" at the lower right side of your pc or laptop, click on "troubleshoot sound problems" then, go to "advanced" then, at the bottom it will say "enable signal enhancements" and uncheck that then, click "apply" "ok" then you're sound is fixed (if it was deeper or really high pitched) I made it deeper and could not find the setting to fix it.

You might look into a an audio equalizer software app to help you out in this area of audio/sound adjustment. Search Google for one that has the features that fit your taste. BTW, sometimes your computer manufacture installs one for you, but most of the time these days Not.

Hello, I'm trying to use my Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound for when I'm playing games and/or watching streaming videos but all I get are the two rear speakers and subwoofer. In your tutorial at 3:05, instead of just one level I also have another 11 levels (all but two have "Balance"). After some adjusting there had been no change to the other speakers. ;-( Any suggestions (btw - "Apply" is under intensified)?

Every time Windows 10 updates the sound on my hp laptop gets worse, I even reinstalled the hp drivers bit better, I have to have the sound turned right up to hear it now, and the quality isn't very good, I have set everything i can in the playback menu...not impressed...have to plug an amplifier in extension speaker socket next from Fred in UK.

It depends on what sound card/adapter/driver your laptop is using. Your sound card either supports or doesn't. Not much you can do about it.

Your sound card might have gone bad. My sound card has gone bad on a few computers over the years.

It depends on your sound card. Some have it and some don't. Tip: Cheap sound cards normally don't. And you can't add it either.

On some systems the sound card does not support a equalizer.

If you are referring to the clicking sound from your mouse and keyboard. It's there to stay.
