I imagine a wholesome game where the demons are more of a metaphorical thing and Doomguy is just a retired space bounty hunter who wants to be a rockstar. the Demons fear him not because of violence and death but because he brings joy and care, his music is that powerful.

I hate that people miss this as an "actual* and *canon* part of doom slayers story. He isn't a psycho who likes killing who just so happens to be pointed in the tight direction, he has genuinely good morals.

@@TowerArcanaCrowyea, the doom marine was just that, a marine. He was a soilder who wanted to protect people. He doesn't kill demons because he just likes killing, he eternally fights against the forces of hell so nobody else has to. He's the embodiment of "protect the little ones"
Remember, in doom eternal when he's trying to get access to the bfg, and he needs the key card to progress? He doesn't attack the scientist or threaten him for the card. He just gently grabs the lanyard and walks over to the scanner, softly pulling the guy on his rollie chair with him. It's played for laughs, sure. But the doom slayer never *ever* hurts a non-combatant human.
this is literally Easycore. sounds so much like Rise on Everest, Settle Your Scores, and Abandoned By Bears. all it needs to completely blend in is lyrics about friendship, perseverance, and overcoming challenges. I genuinely love this stuff. if you like this track then there's an entire genre like this waiting for you

I was bored just scrolling through my recommended, and saw this. Thought, hey that's interesting, I guess I'll give it a listen. Whether is was the beauty of the song, or it just helping me relax despite whatever pressure I'm feeling, somehow this song is the first song I've ever cried to. I didn't realize how good it felt, or that I was crying until my vision started to get blurry. Either way, thank you for this absolute gem, I hope you have a thriving career and a wonderful life.
