- Painting of a beach and clouds on a very bright day. Made with Schmincke and Sennelier soft pastels on Pastelmat paper.
The song is a cover of Christina Perri's Thousand Years from an amazing pianist Joyce Leong ( / @joyceleong ) who has very kindly let me use her music :)
I sell original oil paintings, prints, iphone cases etc. on these sites:

The clouds look realistic! The water looks really close to realistic.

Thank you! :)
Wowwwww
This is so realistic😨
I am glad I found you, your work is wonderful I love seascape and sky . What kind of paper is this ?
Sima abedini Thank you! :) This is Pastelmat paper. I use it in all my recent pastel paintings as it grabs the pastels very well and allows me to apply multiple layers of pastels.
I really liked your demonstration, a very hairy style of interpreting what you do
So natural 😉
your drawing is beautiful
You are so beautiful as your art 💙💎
Gracias por compartir, bello enorme talento.Como se llama la canción???

Could you please make a tutorial on how to draw a night and day sky with soft pastel step by step. Thanks

When did that song came out?
Is it oil pastels?
Sorry but i love the ding first then the painting 😊😊😊😊
Awesome work..but what kind of paper u using for this piece ?
mannhulk Thank you :) I am using a sanded paper from a company named Pastelmat, it is a lot firmer than regular papers and the surface is very similar to fine sand papers
Larisa Carli oh wow..that's awesome work though .ill be buying this for sure .thank you 👍👍😀
mannhulk no problem :D they are very expensive though, if you will be in doubt you can watch a comparission of Pastelmat with regular pastel papers on Jason Morgan's channel, he shows everything very clearly so you can see the differences in how those two grab pastels and things like that :)
Amazing how do you seal it when you have finished so doesn't get wiped off. Thanks
+D Tab This is indeed quite a problem :) Using a sanded paper like I did here helps a lot with this because the tooth of that paper holds the pastels in place considerably better than regular pastel papers or even non-pastel papers, but protection is still needed. Pastel paintings unfortunately have to be framed under glass or protected with non-stick papers or plastic bags. Sprays that seal the pastels in do exist but darken the painting quite a lot, which is why I don't use them, but if you do find a solution on how to seal them please let me know!
I have never used them before but am interested especially after watching your video. but couldn't decide on purchasing oil or soft pastels.
+D Tab Glad to hear that! Try googling soft pastel paintings and then oil pastel paintings to see which ones you prefer. Oil pastels are quite hard to use since they are harder to blend and layer (at least that's my experience), but some artists create beautiful paintings with them so it's probably best to just try them in a local store and see which type you prefer
Good idea I will see if I can try that. Can you recommend a good make make of pastels or is it worth paying for sennilier. Thanks so much for the advice I really appreciate it.
D Tab No problem :) Sennelier pastels are very good (both soft and oil), but it is better to buy their half stick version (with soft pastels) because the full sticks crumble a lot.. they are similar to Schmincke but Sennelier's are less expensive. I like Rembrandts which are considerably less expensive but harder so they are usually used slightly differently than those super soft ones that are so expensive. Almost all brands that are labeled "handmade" are very good but their prices are usually very high.. I will be uploading a video on how you can use only Rembrandts (44 dollars for 120 pastel set) in a few days so you can wait for that if you want :)
Any chance you could record one with oil pastels?
Sorry, I sadly don't own any 😅
you are a fantastic artist! love it!!!!
debbie linderman Thank you! :)
oh you are artist? i'm dream is artist.. you are happying..

Sorry I don't understand :D
Larisa Carli i say tht wht the things r u used in drawing???
i t's ocean of cliff
how come mine do not come out like that? LOL
I'm planning on doing a tutorial on clouds :) Are you using a sanded paper like UART, Pastelmat, Colourfix or some similar paper? The paper helps a lot with pastels
No, I believe that is what im doing wrong, Thank you.
Thank you
could you please do it slowly in another video. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I only now saw your comment since it was held for review, don't know why.. Sadly I don't have the full version of this one anymore, just the short version :/ but I can make a tutorial on clouds with pastels!
Bhai kya banaya hai
Bohot khoob 😘😘
Mujhe bhi kabhi aisa ek master piece banana hai mara school ma mari sabsa aachi painting hai
Bachpan sa hi mara dil hamasha painting ma hi laga hai
Tab bhi free hoti tabhi painting karna lag jati hu
Aapki to kla ka koi javab hi nahi
Aap bhi mara pas koi message jaroor karna
Thanks
Too fast. Can you please slow down the video a little. It is very difficult to follow. The painting is amazing and I would like to follow your tutorial to re-create it. Can you please upload a normal speed version of it?
i loved it!...but how is a painting if u r using pastels?😅😅😅😅
Thank you! :) Most pastel artists consider their work as paintings because both the painting process and the finished look are closer to painting than drawing :) This isn't really that dependent on the media used but more on how the pastels are used. Using pastel pencils (and sometimes even harder pastel sticks) is still considered drawing, making it confusing for someone to decide whether to call pastel works a drawing or a painting. Most artists agree on calling works created in this manner a painting and I completely agree since the use of the medium can actually be surprisingly close to oils :D It really just depends on how you use them.
i was confused😅😅😅thats y have put '😅' this emoji
what this neam Carlos
