Korra’s avatar state didn’t weaken after losing her past lives. Her power grew due to having prime Raava. The only reason Korra lost to kuvira is because she was weakened and still recovering from metal poisoning. She was also suffering from ptsd. Korra is the most powerful avatar by far. I’ve said this before but korra losing her past lives did not make her avatar state weaker and I’ll die by that statement lmao, they obviously changed the lore from the original to korra so that the past lives weren’t the main source for the avatar states strength but instead Raava is. When korra got Raava back Raava got much bigger and much stronger after defeating Vaatu so why would her avatar state be weaker. The only thing she lost is the knowledge from past lives but power wise she has not gotten weaker.
Korra, the Avatar who defied expectations and shattered paradigms, is a testament to the boundless potential of the Avatar spirit. While she struggled with her spiritual side early on, she never gave up, becoming a physical powerhouse second only to the legendary Kuruk, and a spiritual force unlike any Avatar before her. Aang, while a noble and compassionate Avatar, only glimpsed the vast tapestry of Avatar history. Korra, however, delved deep into the very fabric of the Avatar's existence. She uncovered the secrets of the Avatar's creation, identified the first Avatar, and even met them, forging a connection to the very origins of the Avatar cycle. This deep understanding of the Avatar's history, the Spirit World, and the delicate balance between the physical and spiritual realms, set her apart as a true master of the Avatar's legacy. This deep understanding led Korra to achieve a state of enlightenment, a connection to the Atman, the eternal, divine, and pure consciousness of the soul. She transcended the limitations of her ego and personality, achieving a level of spiritual awareness that few Avatars before her had reached. Korra's feats aren't just displays of power; they're a testament to her unwavering spirit and mastery over the elements. Unlike Aang, who was nearly consumed by Yakone's bloodbending, Korra fought back, defying the very essence of the forbidden art without the Avatar State. She battled through poison, unleashing elemental fury with a ferocity that belied her physical limitations. Her mastery of firebending transcended mere control, propelling her through the air with a grace and power that Aang could only dream of. Korra's true brilliance lies in her ability to bend multiple elements simultaneously, not as a mere trick, but as a testament to her complete mastery over the elements. She locked Vaatu, the embodiment of chaos, in the elemental sphere, wielding the power of the four elements with a precision and control that defied the limitations of the Avatar State. Her firebending propelled her to unimaginable heights, showcasing a mastery of the elements that transcended the limitations of her predecessors. Korra's redirection of Kuvira's energy blast, an event comparable to a nuclear explosion, stands as a testament to her raw power and resilience. She harnessed the immense energy, not with the borrowed power of past lives, but with her own indomitable spirit, proving that she was more than just an Avatar; she was a force of nature, a beacon of hope, and a true embodiment of the Avatar's spiritual essence.

@@arinzepaul7899 Yeah, somehow accomplished all that when she can't win a fight against anyone whose significantly more skilled than she is, as a fully realized avatar...You only just proved how shes so weak. Only thing she did was open the spirit portal, learn how to spirit-mood-dance, locate anyone she wants, and learned metal bending, otherwise she barely held her own against anyone and all those accomplishments massively had to do with her friends never leaving her side who also btw were constantly going back to her rescue because she can't do anything on her own. Oh right, she held off massive purple energy while in the avatar state, after all the royal screws ups she did. Kuvira woulda made a better avatar. Toph was right, the world didn't need Korra, she didn't bring balance, she just gave everyone cute spirit pets, that's about it.
I think there is no strongest avatar becose they are the same spirit in afterlifes. And there would be no avatar that would fight with a other avatar. Also becose if one of the avatar would win the other would not exist any more. Or they must not fight in a avatar state. But the goal of a avatar is always bringing peace so i dont think avatar should fight with each other. But try to help each other becose they are from the same soul.
It's Aang. Aang has mastered all the elements the fastest and at the youngest age. Furthermore, he has shown the best feats in the show and comics in tearm of raw power / strength . It's Aang .
After reading Kyoshi's books, her power, raw strength, and adaptability are far beyond what Aang has done in the comics. But Aang's accomplishments and feats should not be undervalued either.
That makes aang the most prodigious if anything, but korra had 3/4 down at like 4 years old anyways while aang didn't even know he was anything but a really good airbender until 12
Since we're judging the "strongest" by putting the most powerful avatars in a room and having them fight it out, I think this outcome works. That said, I still believe that Korra is the strongest, all things considered. The shear number of high level feats and abilities attributed to Korra is insane. Just her spiritual powers alone are next level; she can enter the spirit world easily anywhere there's spirit energy, she can use the avatar state while in the spirit world in spirit form - bending the pure spiritual energy, she can connect with Raava and fast travel across the spirit world, she can pacify dark spirits, and she can track peoples spiritual energy by simply touching the ground. When you add in her energy bending talent and her advanced bending abilities, I would still say Korra's the strongest. The crazy things is that Korra's story ends (so far) just shy of her entering her prime. Imagine Korra at like 30 or 40. She's gonna be a problem.
in the Legend of Korra the advanced techniques seem to be a lot less powerful so I think they traded so I think they refine them into easier to use but ended up reducing it's power greatly

In my opinion... Without Avatar State, Korra is the strongest, because: 1) She learned 3 bendings far earlier than Aang 2) She is able to defeat Amon, Unalaq, Zaheer, and Kuvira without her past lives 3) She is supposed to be the strongest overall, but losing her past lives costs her to lose her strength and knowledge of the past avatars 4) Since she lost her past lives, even in the Avatar State, she cannot Energybend, and cannot do what her past lives did With Avatar State, Aang is the strongest, because: 1) It is stated in ATLA that Avatar State will imbue the avatar with the strength and knowledge of all the past Avatars 2) Aang can Energybend, which can both take and give bending, and Aang did it after he died 3) He inherited his Energybend to Korra through Avatar State 4) Since Avatar State inherited the strength and knowledge, Aang could do what his past lives did Overall, the latest Avatar will always be the strongest unless have the situation like Korra... Please do tell if I miss something...

Should avatar state feats really be included? Since that is essentially an Avatar accessing another’s power? Does an Avatar’s ability/power in the Avatar state vary since they’re accessing the same source?
I think that not allowing the Avatars in this fight to access the Avatar State would make it more fair, considering how the Avatar State gives its user the power of every previous (available) Avatar, which would just mean that every Avatar is more powerful than the last.
27:01 I do think she could take down a Kyoshi or Aang Just because she doesn’t really have her past lives, we can’t deny she did have them and gained the story of some in the tree of time where she goes to meditate I also don’t think past lives being gone makes the state “weaker” the past lives don’t really know anything about the modernised world and techniques tbh also Raava is huge and she could talk to Raava about weaknesses Kyoshi wears literal metal so just metal bend that Korra vs Aang I’d say she would also take that due to proper combat (this is with morals as you stated) it’s also been stated by writers Aang would evade the situation 9/10 times which gives him speed advantage but 1/10 Korra grabs his cowl and beats him up which would proves the combat adv

Unrelated, but I'd enjoy an Avatar that only fought defensively rather than trying to fight their opponent--maybe they have acrobatic skills like Ty Lee, along with chi blocking. Aang's largely a pacifist, but that was moreso with killing. He wasn't really afraid to use his powers to fight if he felt like he had to.
0:53 Hold on now u got to much dip on your chip idk about the last one I would take the water bender guy over her and we don't know what he did but lost his girl to a centipede spirit
Look, we all know that the newest avatar is the strongest, only due to the AS, but, the previous avatars show better feats (Korra’s laser feat is calced to small city, which is above Aang’s feat, but Aang is shown to be faster, and Korra’s laser feat is far below Kyoshi’s feat, hope this helps, so Korra has a superior avatar state, but Aang is faster, and Kyoshi has better showings)
Kyoshi was written with the highest level feats she is meant to represent the utmost limits of what it means to be an avatar. She is like superman in a narrative sense she was something for other avatars can look up to(literally and figuratively). Aang was written to be the last avatar the one to surpass al others like goku. Korra feels out of place like an afterthought. So from a story point of veiw it should be Aang then kyoshi then korra then the rest because each bender represents an element with ideals to match
I feel like Aang and Korra have a severe disadvantage towards Kyoshi and Yangchen. Writers can get a lot more creative with the power levels in comics than in series, after all it wouldve made for a boring series if Aang and Korra could just curbstomp their respective enemies with raw power. Its like the Sith in Star Wars; you can have Sith eating up whole planets in distant games or comics or books, but it would break the story if you did it in movies.
Question: "Who is the strongest Avatar?" Direct answer, as stated in ATLA, as depicted in her books: "Kyoshi". I don't know why people try to make Korra for what she's definitely not. Not only other Avatars would also have to learn spirit bending to deal with the dark spirits (so that's not something sooooo special), but the newest Avatar definitely doesn't automatically and permanently gain their past lives abilities. Ain't no way someone with Kyoshi's or Yangchen's abilities would get THRRRRASHED by Kuvira, even in a weakened state (also the Avatar wouldn't need to learn everything anew if it was the case). So yeah, let's face it: it's Kyoshi, and by a LOT.
i would say aang because he is so creative with just one element you must have heard bruce lee famous quote about practicing one kick and a thousand kicks ya so aang has legendary status in one element air and his use is unmatched and dude prime aang would be a force to feared. it is good that aang is a peace loving guy.
I don't think the void technique would work on Aang. His air bending is OP, so he would counter the attack - similar to how Katara overcame blood bending.
The Avatar state is pretty much the same in terms of power, Raava is what powers it, not the past lives, the past lives can give the Avatar State skills and experience Any Avatar State fight will be a stalemate because they literally all have the power to do the same thing Unalaq vs Korra pretty much shows this Despite him even having one element he was also surrounded by that one element & it had a greater power boost than Sozin's comet on Ozai, the strongest firebender
Without watching ill say this. It's Korra. Korra literally has the wisdom and power of all past avatars. Also bending techniques have advanced like crazy. Whoever becomes the new avatar is bound to be stronger than the last unless they just straight up never train
people forget korras avatar state was weak before even meeting vaatu and losing the connection...........she just wasnt good as the past avatars at it........
I would argue that aang is js as creative as Korra if not more so, air scooter, youngest master of air plus as he said besting masters only using air PASSIVELY so creative.
Avatars like aang, Roku, kyoshi, yenchen, kuruk, zeto and other previous avatars has been stated to be at those multi continental to moon to even planetary lvl ranges of power in the novels, data books and avatarwiki and they only have small rava, just imagine powerful Korra is with big rava, she should be at those large planetary ranges using the novels and data books, and you guys also forgot the fact that Korra broke the rift between two universes which could be a universal lvl feat if you want to wank it, and yet ignorant people would still say theyer city lvl which is a super low-ball. Avatar is the most underated and lowballed anime I've ever seen and it's not funny.
Honestly kuruk was prerry strong and he is very underrated personally if he could almost tear the spirit world bye fighting father glowworm i think he has a chance kf fighting yangchen since honestly father glowworm is a spirit and surviving that atleast means you have some chance of fighting yangchen aslo to mention kuruk didnt use a special technique he was just that strong
Aang is the strongest Avatar, no capping. Mind you guys, aang is just a 12yrs old boy and yet he could master all the four elements in such a short span of time. Kyoshi on the other hand is like an adult so you can't compare her strength to that of Aang's, who is a little boy BTW
If the Avatar state is a defence mechanism. In which all the previous incarnations combine, they're experiences. Usually, the most recent avatar has the most potential. Korra at her peak. Would have been the most powerful. Yet she lost Raavaa to Vaatuu. Who inhabited a single host. With only water as his element. Maybe experience doesn't stack. 😂

Having access to the past Avatars doesn't make you the strongest, because access and usuage are two different things. But more importantly, your strenght and feats as an individual Avatar has nothing to do sith the Avatar state., if all your strength comes from the previous Avatars, then what does the next Avatar gain from you? Just like the previous Avatars were able to build themselves, for you to leach off of, you need to be able to develop yourself independent of the other Avatars, so that the next Avatar can actually find you useful, when they need you. If every subsequent Avatar relied solely on the previous Avatar to be great, then technically, Avatar Wan would be the only strong Avatar. So no, Korra was not stroner than Aang.

Hey Death Battle , I think this would be a perfect Battle Royal.
The creators actually stated everything you've just said but there are still a lot of critics that are ignorant and can't accept true fact. Everything you said is valid bro excellent speech.👍

All these accomplishments and yet somehow still manages to be the stupidest and weakest Avatar I have ever seen.
@@amberslahlize7961 she held back in her avatar state in all the fight she has been in and also the fact that the creators said korra was more in control of herself in her avatar state than aang was and she still scales massively above aang and every single avatar and has accomplished more than any other avatar has accomplished, Korra stopped a civil war, defeated the strongest blood bender in history, stopped zaheer chaos and surpassed defeated the dark God of their universe who is basically the concept of darkness and chaos and ended an ammagedon on two universes. Most anime characters has never accomplished what Korra has so put some respect to her name boy 😑😑
I feel so bad for Kuruk
It's Aang. Aang has mastered all the elements the fastest and at the youngest age. Furthermore, he has shown the best feats in the show and comics in tearm of raw power / strength . It's Aang .
Oh yeah this guy isn't biased one bit
@@SonGoli he isnt
After reading Kyoshi's books, her power, raw strength, and adaptability are far beyond what Aang has done in the comics. But Aang's accomplishments and feats should not be undervalued either.
That makes aang the most prodigious if anything, but korra had 3/4 down at like 4 years old anyways while aang didn't even know he was anything but a really good airbender until 12
TF YOU MEAN MID?????
This ranking is so accurate. It's either Aang or Kyoshi is the strongest.
I want a Kyoshi series lol
Welp, Korra is now definitively the strongest avatar
Our boy Aang
Yep, Aang!
in the Legend of Korra the advanced techniques seem to be a lot less powerful so I think they traded so I think they refine them into easier to use but ended up reducing it's power greatly
I had an idea for an autistic earth Avatar and he was originally going to be a boy and his name was going to be Taran which means rocky hill
Having a disease as the avatar kinda makes no sense
@dereklouther9372 Cancer , covid, AIDS small pox are diseases, autism is not ,nor does it attack your organs and eventually progress to the point of being deadly .You can't catch Asperger's/Autism, you're born with it. Not to mention there are several theories that Zuko may be on the spectrum and several characters with special needs were extremely formidable (Toph, Ming Hua) just to name a few. Autism is variation of the brain, not a disease
@dereklouther9372 Cancer, covid small pox are diseases that are contagious, that can attack your organs and can kill you in a worst case scenario. Autism is a variation of the brain
@@dereklouther9372 Your opinion makes no sense. The whole point of the Avatar is that they come from all sorts of different people.
@@dereklouther9372 i mean, as far as I know, the avatar can be anyone. It'd only make sense that at one point, there'd be at least one avatar who's some kinda neurodivergent
In my opinion...
Without Avatar State, Korra is the strongest, because:
1) She learned 3 bendings far earlier than Aang
2) She is able to defeat Amon, Unalaq, Zaheer, and Kuvira without her past lives
3) She is supposed to be the strongest overall, but losing her past lives costs her to lose her strength and knowledge of the past avatars
4) Since she lost her past lives, even in the Avatar State, she cannot Energybend, and cannot do what her past lives did
With Avatar State, Aang is the strongest, because:
1) It is stated in ATLA that Avatar State will imbue the avatar with the strength and knowledge of all the past Avatars
2) Aang can Energybend, which can both take and give bending, and Aang did it after he died
3) He inherited his Energybend to Korra through Avatar State
4) Since Avatar State inherited the strength and knowledge, Aang could do what his past lives did
Overall, the latest Avatar will always be the strongest unless have the situation like Korra...
Please do tell if I miss something...
4:54 didnt azula fly in the boiling rock to get to the line.
That makes azula also one of the few firebenders to do that
The one when, in the Avatar State, has the access to the highest amount of past lives.
aang vs kurvira comes down to who can dodge better and we all know damn well aang got that airbender dodge in his dna litterly look at him vs zuko and azula mans stright dodging and weaving stated at 21:17
Comparing movements between kora and Aang is like comparing PS4 graphics to PS5. The show was done mostly in the early 2002.
I declare a battle royal to settle this
22:12 do sent korra also have dysentery sense for metal bending
Aang is -the best avater 💨
Either Kyoshi or Aang, but im leaning more towards Aang. A 12 year old kid stopped a 100 year war with like 4 kids.
Kyoshi 💯%
Should avatar state feats really be included? Since that is essentially an Avatar accessing another’s power? Does an Avatar’s ability/power in the Avatar state vary since they’re accessing the same source?
I wish I could live in the avatar universe, we need game developers to step up their games
I think that not allowing the Avatars in this fight to access the Avatar State would make it more fair, considering how the Avatar State gives its user the power of every previous (available) Avatar, which would just mean that every Avatar is more powerful than the last.
korras avatar state was weak tho........even before vaatu destroyed her connection to past avatars
If that was how it worked Korra would not have lost almost every fight she had in the avatar state
27:01 I do think she could take down a Kyoshi or Aang
Just because she doesn’t really have her past lives, we can’t deny she did have them and gained the story of some in the tree of time where she goes to meditate
I also don’t think past lives being gone makes the state “weaker” the past lives don’t really know anything about the modernised world and techniques tbh also Raava is huge and she could talk to Raava about weaknesses
Kyoshi wears literal metal so just metal bend that
Korra vs Aang I’d say she would also take that due to proper combat (this is with morals as you stated) it’s also been stated by writers Aang would evade the situation 9/10 times which gives him speed advantage but 1/10 Korra grabs his cowl and beats him up which would proves the combat adv
both series have different writers, the statements of one of them can't be taken as canon.
@ that’s like saying neither of them can be taken into canon 💀
Michael D’martino and the other guy were still involved and proceeded with it it’s still canon akhi
@@SI4Y Involved un the process, not actually writers. Neither of them can be taken as canon on takes that involves the other. That's like saying if kishimoto says naruto would defeat Goku, then we can take it as canon. It's not accurate yaa akhi
@ yes it is canon it takes part in the same verse. Naruto and Goku are in 2 different verses. TLoK is a continuation after ATLA not 2 separate things what 💀 plus Michael and the other guy are actual owners of the franchise and bring up both all the time therefore it is canon they even said the story of wan and concept told Raava which was written in Korra is canon.
14:00 It had to be the shallow part but still it the ocean! Thats earth level power!
0:53 Hold on now u got to much dip on your chip idk about the last one I would take the water bender guy over her and we don't know what he did but lost his girl to a centipede spirit
Look, we all know that the newest avatar is the strongest, only due to the AS, but, the previous avatars show better feats (Korra’s laser feat is calced to small city, which is above Aang’s feat, but Aang is shown to be faster, and Korra’s laser feat is far below Kyoshi’s feat, hope this helps, so Korra has a superior avatar state, but Aang is faster, and Kyoshi has better showings)
can you make a video of the official reading order guide to the comics?
The protagonist from the upcoming ice wars game
Switch the thumb nail around and the video is perfect
Simplest answer to this question is: whoever the original writers deem it to be.🤷🏾♂️
Kyoshi was written with the highest level feats she is meant to represent the utmost limits of what it means to be an avatar.
Kysohi obvs
Kyoshi is basically the mitsuri of ATLAU when it comes to strength 😭
I feel like Aang and Korra have a severe disadvantage towards Kyoshi and Yangchen. Writers can get a lot more creative with the power levels in comics than in series, after all it wouldve made for a boring series if Aang and Korra could just curbstomp their respective enemies with raw power. Its like the Sith in Star Wars; you can have Sith eating up whole planets in distant games or comics or books, but it would break the story if you did it in movies.
You should consider that Yangchens vacuum technique wouldnt work on strong (air) benders
Question: "Who is the strongest Avatar?"
Direct answer, as stated in ATLA, as depicted in her books: "Kyoshi".
Its kyoshi then korra as 2nd. Aang everyone favorite but korra and kyoshi feats are just on a different level.
I knew exactly where this video was going bc as soon as he started with corra she immediately got downplayed and plus the aang glaze was crazy 😂
got high af drom the honrobale mentions
YANG CHEN ...
WHERE IS SZETO
In the honorable mentions, but clearly you commented this before watching the video fully.
I don't think the void technique would work on Aang. His air bending is OP, so he would counter the attack - similar to how Katara overcame blood bending.
We need a Legend of Kuruk book 😔
The Avatar state is pretty much the same in terms of power, Raava is what powers it, not the past lives, the past lives can give the Avatar State skills and experience
Any Avatar State fight will be a stalemate because they literally all have the power to do the same thing
Unalaq vs Korra pretty much shows this
Despite him even having one element he was also surrounded by that one element & it had a greater power boost than Sozin's comet on Ozai, the strongest firebender
Not to mention that Aang also had the power boost from the comet
Avatar kyoshi hands down
Bro delusional
Easy. The Avatar that can bend all 4 elements. 🌊🌏🔥🌬
Korra's Avatar State didn't get weaker from losing her past lives
Kuruk just crying in the background
Are we not gonna mention how Korra made a whole spirit portal by blocking a big ray of spiritual energy😝
Creating the new portal was an accident, it wasn't intentional. She had no idea of what she was doing...just bending spiritual energy (or blocking)
Kyoshi sweep
Without watching ill say this. It's Korra. Korra literally has the wisdom and power of all past avatars. Also bending techniques have advanced like crazy. Whoever becomes the new avatar is bound to be stronger than the last unless they just straight up never train
Actually yangshen too had a hamsterball it's shown in the novels
Kinda weird bro didn't mention it since he literally pulled up the panel of her using it 💀💀
I need to see prime kyoshi vs prime aang
❤❤❤ update
people forget korras avatar state was weak before even meeting vaatu and losing the connection...........she just wasnt good as the past avatars at it........
Kyoshi solos them im afraid
Aang definitely is the fastest avatar of them all, and uses that speed in fights much faster aswell
I would argue that aang is js as creative as Korra if not more so, air scooter, youngest master of air plus as he said besting masters only using air PASSIVELY so creative.
Aang a 12 year old would wipe the floor with legend of korra, now imagine Aang in his prime 😎🔥🔥🔥
Korra was blocking the beam with energybending not her bear hands. Avatars don't have indestructible skin
Honestly kuruk was prerry strong and he is very underrated personally if he could almost tear the spirit world bye fighting father glowworm i think he has a chance kf fighting yangchen since honestly father glowworm is a spirit and surviving that atleast means you have some chance of fighting yangchen aslo to mention kuruk didnt use a special technique he was just that strong
yangchen void can be countered by other airbenders though
Aang is the strongest Avatar, no capping. Mind you guys, aang is just a 12yrs old boy and yet he could master all the four elements in such a short span of time. Kyoshi on the other hand is like an adult so you can't compare her strength to that of Aang's, who is a little boy BTW
YANG CHEN clears everybody
If the Avatar state is a defence mechanism. In which all the previous incarnations combine, they're experiences. Usually, the most recent avatar has the most potential.
Korra at her peak. Would have been the most powerful.
Yet she lost Raavaa to Vaatuu. Who inhabited a single host. With only water as his element.
Maybe experience doesn't stack. 😂
15:59 headcannon and obviously just hating on Korra
If I could remake this video I would. If the leaks of Korra destroying the entire Avatar world are true then she'd easily be the strongest Avatar.
Radical.
Aang, no question, period 😊 not because he is so strong himself, but because he has the best team ☺️
Funny how Korra still slams him low-mid diff tbh
This shit right here is why reading is necessary
@@SonGoli I’m just stating facts. Korra beats Aang low-mid diff. If you disagree you’re just biased. I can talk about this more if you want, but I’m just being honest and factual. Korra slams Aang low-mid diff
@@xierxuu bro, do you really think that was directed towards you
@@SonGoli oh shit mb bro, I just thought it was. Mbbbbb
Havent seen the whole video yet but the title got to be cap, because who else would we think it is besides Kyoshi? I mean I guess the thumbnail is honest
4/5 u need to have 5 next to the avatar state its spiritual is also much needed so based on 4 is wrong u need it to do on 5!!
