not a basemap from foreign tooner
not copy paste not edit kuno not from thai etc
expecting 140to150 stock hp (tuned a lot of manual local k20 we always got 160 to 170hp) but we were surprised with the initial base run of 116hp only
we think the culprits were the aftermarket headers/custom piping being larger from stock
hence the very lean 14:3:1 air fuel ratio on wide open throttle and a 15:7:1 afr on partial throttle and cruising/overtaking cells
those afr values are LEAN and very dangerous to your engine internals
so if you are on stock ecu/tune with a custom headers and pipings/exhaust have your car tuned asap by your tuner or if you do not want to get into tuning your ecu put back your stock headers and exhaust to prevent further engine damageð
tried different vtc/cam angles and ignition values had only minamal gains thru the powerband from 10 to 20 vtc we gain 4to7hp in the low to mid rpms
the biggest effect that we had was when we move the vtec crossover point from 3600rpm to 2600 - āļĒāļēāļāļĒāļāļāđāđāļĨāļ°āļāļēāļŦāļāļ°
