My golden calf was fun. It sounds idk silly but thats what it was. This podcast was an answered prayer because just yesterday i said to God in my quiet time, "why is it that when i like something you take it away." Referring to me liking movies and reading and music. Its a pattern. I like something and God tells me to give it up. I was putting having fun and doing things i enjoy in my spare time over my time with Jesus most definitely

Ive been freed and the scales have been removed from my eyes, the fear of the LORD is the beginning of all wisdom, and i finally truly understand that God is so overwhelmingly loving and gracious that He has been blessing me with mercy I truly in no way deserve.
