- Hello my Fragrance family this video will be a battle of two Middle Eastern astern brands. Today I will be reviewing the Lattafa Perfume called Affection and comparing it with KAYALI Yum Pistachio Gelato because people said that these are dupes because they smell alike. The correct notes of Lattafa are:
Top notes: Pistachio, Hazelnut, Cassis buds.
Middle notes: lily of the valley, jasmine, raspberry and lactone.
Base notes: lactonic, vanilla, tonka bean.

We are always shocked when the middle eastern brands give us the quality for the low. I’m no longer surprised . The American brands can do the same they are just over charging us cuz the can and they know we will pay it . Middle eastern brands have shown us you can get quality for a low price . We just fall for the hype .
You are very accurate. I think niche perfumes are just over priced. This middle eastern brands are blowing out of the water with how they smell alike for very low price. Longevity may even be more than the niche fragrance they are duping. I wonder how they can source for cheaper ingredients to make the same perfume.
Totally agree! They go to the Middle East & copy their fragrances to brand it in the usa for higher retail price. They also give us wrong information about the year of creation, to make it seem dubai duped it recently.😵💫
They don't waste money on marketing with huge stars 😅
I have Yum pistachio on my skin and clothes it smells like pistachio vanilla ice cream . Yum pistachio perfume last on my skin for 3 hours and on clothes it last for 6 hours. I don't like the longevity of Yum pistachio for it's price so I am trying find Yum pistachio dupe and I landed on this video. I will give Lattafa Affection a try ,if I like it more that yum pistachio then Affection by Lattafa I will continue to buy . For 140 $ yum pistachio perfume need to last at list 10 hours on clothes and 7 hours on skin for me to find it worth the price .
Yes the longevity is poor on Yum Pistachio Gelato. That’s why I can’t justify getting it. It does smell good though. Thanks for watching love.

Just received my Affection. I am super impressed. It’s super vanilla rich . I like it better and the bottle is gorgeous!
Nebras is AMAAAAAZING! I've brought Affection it should arrive soon can't wait ❤️ but my love for Nebras is everlasting, at first it has a minty note which disappears after 3 days for me, it's a luscious blend of vanilla and cocoa. I kinda want to gatekeep it but I can't stop talking about it at the same time lol! I love Lattafa, Nebras honestly blew me away, 10/10

The arab brands aren't greedy like the western ones who only want to cut costs while making record profits. They do their best, offer quality and splurge on the presentation. I will only buy arab perfumes from now on.
Let the Kayali sit and revisit in a few weeks. I find the kayali as other middle eastern scents get nicer after some macerating. My yum pistachio is way richer now after I have had it. Vanilla 28 intensifies too and gets darker and richer.

I think they have a bigger market in the states for the less ‘oudhy’ perfumes.
Anyway their representative has said it’ll be a January launch for Dubai .

I love gourmand perfumes too I like strawberry pound cake body mist by both and body work on my skin and clothes it smells like strawberry shortcake 🍰 but after 2 hours they body mist is gone , so every 2 hours i have to respray it , i hope i can find a perfume that smells like it,i would buy it .

I like Lattafa perfume Khamrah that was my 1st Lattafa perfume . I have Shaghaf Oud perfume by Swiss Arabian . I like Shaghaf oud on me it smells sweet, oud, rose ,vanilla but it last only 5 hours on my clothes and 2 hours on my skin but for the price I don't mind it . Still searching if I can find a better oud ,rose ,vanilla perfume that has good longitivity. I would be trying Kyali oud rose perfume and oud caffa perfume .
I’m surprised shaghaf oud only lasted 5 hours on you. It’s usually too much in my opinion. I love Khamrah OG and the coffee too much

The lipstick is gorgeous 😻... Share pls 💜. I have affection and I love it so much. I even use it as my bed scent, just 1 spray for sleep and 13 sprays when I go out, lasts 8+ hours on my skin

I can't find it on the lattafa website so I need to buy it on Amazon or some other reseller. Does it have the original silver lattafa sticker?
Yes it does have the silver sticker. I brought this from a reputable fragrance discounter in Canada. fragrancebuy.ca/pages/search-results?q=affection it’s sold out right now but you can get notifications when it comes back in stock. I wouldn’t trust Amazon because I’ve received fake perfumes before even a cheapie from a middle eastern brand.

How do you rate this 4 weeks later? Is the performance ok?
10/10 - Scent 8/10 - longevity. Last about 8hours on skin and 10+ hours on clothes

Ive had the Affection one in my cart ever since i went on a hunt for Pistachio scents...Amazon has its notes listed as this:
Top: Italian Bergamot, Pistachio Gelato, Hazelnut, Sweet Rum and Cardamom
Middle: Geranium, White Peony, Muguet, Jasmine, Raspberry, White Peach and Pear
Base: Whipped Cream, Marshmallow, Cotton Candy, Turkish Delight Accord, Cocoa, Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Tonka
So it has the nutty elements I love ...Im sooo excited to get it. 💚

@lavellans I don't know how it compares...but I do like it very much. I've already paired it with Napras...and some warm vanilla cashmere ...ohhhhhhhh MYLANTA!!! 💚💚💚💚
