Monday, August 19th, 2024: Jackie's DMV Forecast: A few storms Monday PM, drier the rest of the week

I'm back after a few days off and we're starting off the week muggy with highs in the low to mid-80s. A cold front will spark up some storms later this afternoon and evening before clearing the region tonight. We'll have a gradual clearing overnight with refreshing air returning for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s both days. Thursday and Friday are dry, too, but slightly warmer, in the low 80s Thursday, mid-80s Friday.
