Christopher.. I’m so drained, I don’t know if it’s the energies or my ancestral karma, but I’m definitely going through something right now.. I’m standing right in front of a huge change and I am so unsure if I should do it, or will it unfold big terror and pain? I don’t know…I’m so scared of the change, I’m so scared of living in the house I was living in for so long when I’m now an unwanted child. I’m so scared of eating, I’m scared of living. I need to escape, because I am being shamed for choosing my own life path, wanting to go to university and moving without being beaten for having a love affair with a man that truly cares about me. They are not the ones in charge. I am. I’m a free woman.

My own parents, for whom I did NOT reserve judgement, were an enigma to me - until I got older (I'm a similar vintage to you). Now I do understand them, in a way I never did. Yes, wonderful quotes - especially the last one. Everyone is you. And you have, at some stage in a previous existences, been that homeless person, villain, cop, or king. I arrived in my small hometown yesterday to help my mom with a big house move AND knee surgery for a few weeks. She’s a tough patient to say the least & has burned a lot of friend/family bridges over the years & of late.

Sun square Pluto brings the ego and the hidden issues with authorities to justice, in the open to be examined for what they are. The human drama is filled with pain, and we must acknowledge the pain we feel in the other. The south node reminds us that these feelings, emotions, and actions come from the past and must be released so we can process them.

Christopher, the times I have had to change my life and push forward, were also the times I most urgently craved the support of my parents. It was these times that my parents stood staunchly against my growth, and when their lack of support no longer held the same power to suppress me, they had no choice but to bare their teeth, sneer, snarl, and reveal the undercurrent of malevolence that I had been tracking. I relate to your story in this way, and the take away is that we have to face that malevolence squarely, i.e. sun square Pluto, before we can authentically pass the initiation. I celebrate those sneers and snarls, which I earned by following my heart, my inner guidance, and my self trust. Our parents reveal their own fear, and, in that way, they show us our own power and courage to trust ourselves. So that's my take away, in dialogue with your priest's counsel to reserve judgment. Always love your weekly messages, so, so much.

Well Christopher, you’ve done it again. You have a way of weaving your stories into the most clarifying way to help me somehow make sense of this madness. When you started telling your childhood story about your father, I took issue with the priests response, “reserve judgement “. My heart broke for you. But as you continued to explain it further, I began comparing my parents stories/experiences and mine as an adult and things started to change in my brain as well. So much conflict regarding all the bad things adults do, this talk magically helped me see another perspective. You are a magical genius. I’m grateful for who you are. It reminds me of what is said of wisdom and the occult: You can not find it by searching for it. But if you don't search you will never find it.
What Time will lend to understanding is incredible, and can be very difficult to put into words. And even if you can, the true understanding of it can only come through experience.
Ah, and I understand your (former) frustration about understanding Libra, as I have a Libra stellium. I suspect that is the most exacerbating part of my chart and modus operandi, irritating the other parts of me to no end 🤣
Wow, wow, wow. Christopher I will be thinking about your episode all week. Thank you so much for opening up and sharing with us. I also grew up in the 70s and had an abusive, alcoholic father and I ran away from home many times. Looking back it was always him who came and got me and brought me home full of remorse.
I now see how he has carried that remorse and guilt through his whole life, and how it has prevented him from finding peace. We also have an internal scale of justice, and no one is a harsher judge than ourselves. Another reason to reserve judgment. They are already judging themselves. Love your show and I look forward to it every Sunday..

Christopher, I knew when you started your story with the remark that you had a wonderful childhood, that you did not have a wonderful childhood. We all have had negative experiences growing up. Some of them naturally have been more negative than others - think about the children growing up in Hamas right now. So, maybe this will help you put your childhood experiences in perspective. Your childhood was far from perfect, but you have used that experience to heal many of us with your stories. Those negative experiences gave you the gift of creating metaphors that help all of us overcome our wounds.

Thank you again, Christopher. I have been transcribing my grandfather's diary of the 1940s. My dad was a teenager. It was interesting reading about that stage of his life and the problems he went through. I saw him differently.
An astrologer told me that I should have left my Capricorn government job in 2008. I retired from it in 2022. He was right. I am still recovering from it. Before I left, I felt like it was 1930s Germany. I hope the people wake up there. I keep thinking of the German movie, "Labyrinth of Lies."

'Reserve judgement' are wise words especially in these days with war in the Middle East - if only these waring people would reserve judgement instead of the seething resentment and wanting to 'get even'
