I'm from Canada. We have a swim event in the middle of December, we walk on the ice until we get to the middle of the lake. Then there is a hole (1 mile) in the lake that the city cuts out so we can swim for a mile. I have done it for 5 years now. It is f**king cold, but completely worth it!!

DO NOT shave a husky unless it is for an emergency medical reason. They have a double coat that keeps them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Their fur will not grow back properly if you shave them. Also you got Country good lol.
