I like how Ghoulash casually goes from talking about this movie's lack of a plot and making fun of it to explaining his dark Addams Family incest theory at the drop of a hat.
Tim Curry SHOULD have been a great Gomez but it seems like he was underplaying it. And for a Tim Curry Gomez you want him at his 10 the whole time. He needed to be his absolute most Tim Curryness. Tim Curry doing an impression of over the top Tim Curry performances. That should have been his version of Gomez.
Tim Curry was a worthy replacement. He just seemed to like being in terrible films. Maybe he knew the directors wouldn't have the balls to try and tell him how to he his charmingly sinister self.
I had this on VHS when I was a kid I loved it so much back then I watched it constantly the rude old guy sitting there going DRINK, DRINK WHERE'S THE BARTENDER!!?? DRINK is burned into my brain 😂😂😂. And good to see you back Ghoulash out of curiosity was Old Huckleberry in that baseball bat collection 😅
Thank you for explaining why I have found no trace of this film. I was seriously starting to doubt my own brain because I clearly remember seeing it as a kid. I especially remember the very clunky delivery of the line "All is fair in love and warheads".
Seriously is nobody going to talk about how incredibly strong Philip is for lifting and carrying Gomez up over his head and dragging him across the table?
Yes! It's been a day since we've seen you review another Addams Family movie. This is definitely a movie people would usually say "Wait? This movie exists?"
I wasn't aware of this Addams Family movie. I only knew of the two theatrical films and the fun tv series from Saban. Thanks for covering this film though. It didn't look like a good film. lol
Just FYI Jeep's were used as mail trucks, that one in particular is a Jeep DJ-5M Mid80's or so (also known as the "Dispatcher). They were a two wheel drive version of the CJ series. It's good to see you back! =)
~20:50 Some rural(ish) places mailmen do use jeeps instead of mail trucks. For years our local one drove an English jeep to make delivery to those mail locker things easier.
The Addams family house has always had two grandmothers who stay with them at different times. Usually Grandmama Eudora Addams (Gomez’s mother stays with them), but on occasion she would leave and Granny Frump (Mortician’s mother) would come and visit. Who is the grandmother in the first two movies despite being referred to as the Grandmama Addams. They both look similar and are usually confused for each other. They’re both witches and attended the same school together. I remember years ago as a kid reading somewhere that the Addams and Frump families where distant relatives. Either cousins or third cousins. I could be wrong about this, as I don’t remember where I read it. I used to watch the Addams family tv remake when it first aired on ABC family. I grew up watching the Addams Family and every incarnation the good and bad, the first two movies and 90’s cartoon being my favorites. I also remember going to my neighbor’s house and watching this movie, which was her favorite, and being confused as to why.
The Addams Family has either been celebrated or exploited throughout its history. The 60's show and the Paramount movies gave them lasting life while everything after, including this overrated Wednesday show, have just been cash grabs. Tim Curry is the only reason I would (try to) watch this in full. Though no one will ever dethrone the still missed Raúl Juliá.
How did I never notice this?? I loved the beetleborgs growing up. Then again, I also thought Adams Family Reunion was a great movie, so I might not have been the brightest kid.
Is nobody gonna talk about how incredibly strong Dr. Philip is for lifting and carrying Gomez who's bigger than him over his head? Is he the strongest person in the world?
2:08 Hey now, since Wednesday, Thing is now my favorite Addams Family character! 10:15 Have you looked at his IMDB resume? Begley will do anything for money!
Come now, funny joke, but in truth they couldn't afford to get the tree from The Evil Dead! It was way too in demand in Japanese fetish porn before its untimely death in the late aughts from a particularly virulent STD strain of Dutch elm disease! I love when the Doc gets Ghoulash out of storage, I imagine rousing him from a coma with smelling salts only to immediately beat him mercilessly and throw him down some stairs for not knowing the exact date and time! Ghoulash must have been assembled from some pretty good parts because he makes a pretty good ghoul, able to recover from comas and headers down even the steepest stairs and still give astute film commentary, really digging down and getting to the soiled heart of the matter! This was classic Ghoulash and a delight!
It's so great to see Ghoulash back! As for the movie, I've not seen it but Tim Curry is amazing in everything. It's just a shame that in this case, the rest of the movie looks pretty awful. Also, it strikes me as odd that he's the biggest star in the film but doesn't get top billing, even on the VHS cover they credit Daryl Hannah first. Tim Curry is the only reason most people would give this film a chance.
This is the only Addams Family movie I like because it's dumb and I had it on VHS as a little kid. Also it has a neckbeard playing Pugsley and Ed Begley Jr. being so badass he melts off the screen.
I wasted this movie as a kid more often than the other two, and I was also a fan of the new Addams family show and I always thought it was okay. A string of culture clash moments is essentially all there is to Addams Family concept
Hey this movie is bad at least the new Addams family tv show is good and it something about your movie the best part of your movie is tv show that spawn it’s
The incest angle brings a whole new level of creepy to the franchise. This one looks really bad, and I remember seeing it on tv. Curry and Bagley Jr. are really too good for this thing.
Saw it once on vhs and it was sort of meh and when i say i saw it once i mean it as never saw it again im sure theres like a parallel universe out there where addams family reunion was a massive hit
Oh, god. I did not need to hear you say that about the Addams lineage. I mean... I had my suspicions. But I didn't want anyone to actually say it out loud.
Sadly Tim Curry would have been remembered as a great Gomez if 1) Raul Julia hadn't played him first & 2) Tim was in a movie with better co-stars & budget
I've been gone form the channel because of life stuff so I stopped keeping with these channels. I used to pitty Ghoulash but I want to beat him after the theory. I know it makes sense and is possiblely true but I still want him to get introuble.
I'm sort of confused about the target audience of this channel. You are covering more family friendly content and censoring swears but have a more Uncle Roger take on the FAMILY FRIENDLY content where its rude but you apologise for it afterwards. Great video btw that was just a little observation
Make sure to click subscribe and that like button, I command it! 👍
Thank you sir
@@TheGhoulog Great video
Was one of the baseball bats in your collection named Old Huckleberry by any chance?
@@RhymeswithSpecialNeeds Good question
@@TheGhoulog always great to see you slip out of the coma long enough to bring us a wonderful story of incestuous gothic love
I like how Ghoulash casually goes from talking about this movie's lack of a plot and making fun of it to explaining his dark Addams Family incest theory at the drop of a hat.
It actually explains a lot.
Tim Curry on paper sounds absolutely amazing. The direction for him and this script...oh boy
It's always best to just sit back and let Tim Curry do his thing 🎉❤🎉
Funny thing about Grandmama, her relation to either Gomez or Morticia was a gag in the musical
You know I never in a million years thought zombies could be sexy, but that hair. Woof.
Oh, how I have missed Ghoulog. How could Doctor Wolfula have him locked away during AAHH-TOBER and the Wednesday Dance craze?
Tim Curry SHOULD have been a great Gomez but it seems like he was underplaying it. And for a Tim Curry Gomez you want him at his 10 the whole time. He needed to be his absolute most Tim Curryness. Tim Curry doing an impression of over the top Tim Curry performances. That should have been his version of Gomez.
It just isn't the same without Raul Julia. And that's nothing against Tim Curry.
Tim Curry was a worthy replacement. He just seemed to like being in terrible films. Maybe he knew the directors wouldn't have the balls to try and tell him how to he his charmingly sinister self.

In the second movie Fester is looking at a picture of his and Ghomezes mom, so that confirms it.
Thank you for explaining why I have found no trace of this film. I was seriously starting to doubt my own brain because I clearly remember seeing it as a kid.
I especially remember the very clunky delivery of the line "All is fair in love and warheads".
I haven't seen the VHS, but tbh, I would watch Tim Curry read the phone book.
I love how Tim Curry as Gomez refers to Publisher's Clearing House as Publisher's Killing House.
I can see why this is a forgotten part of the Addams Family film series. Right along with those recent animated disasters
Seriously is nobody going to talk about how incredibly strong Philip is for lifting and carrying Gomez up over his head and dragging him across the table?
The Shawshank joke had me cracking up hahaha. Great job Ghoulash! .... you live to see one more day. 💀

Ghoulash looks like a zombie shaggy
I love it
Clearly they've confused the Addams Family for being actively malevolent which is like one of the biggest balls to drop.
Even though Tim Curry did a decent job playing Gomez Addams in this Film, it probably wasn't enough to save this film
We've missed you Ghoulash
The most exciting comeback ever!
Oh, hell yeah. I was hoping the next Ghoulog vid would be Addams family reunion. Thanks so much, Dude. Can't wait.

Happy returns to Ghoulash!! 💚 I look forward to seeing more of your videos!!
I thought this was a decent sequel. Tim Curry was awesome as Gomez Addams. For years, I stop the girl who played Wednesday was the Abby girl from NCIS
Now we’re talking! I loved this mess as a child
i saw this video in my recommended and i had apparently buried the memories of renting this movie deep in my subconcious

love the channel! thanks for coming back!
Despite this movie not being good or well known I still think this was part of the second big era of The Addams Family.
your hair is magnificent !😍
22:10, Well, technically, we have heard other versions of The Addams Family intro before, but I do see where you're getting at, I really do.
Why does the incest theory make so much sense
I’m so glad you’re back!
I remember seeing this film but i didn’t remember anything about it and now i know why
It looks like Saban used the same set he used for the Beetleborgs TV series on this film. Same house and all. Only minor changes here and there. Lol 😂
Are you kidding? The Addams live in Hillhurst mansion?
That's amazing
How did I never notice this?? I loved the beetleborgs growing up.
Then again, I also thought Adams Family Reunion was a great movie, so I might not have been the brightest kid.
Welcome backkkkk
New video!! I’m so happy!
Looking good Ghoulash!!! Glad to have you back!!!

So wait am I just unlucky enough to have to watch this constantly as a kid?????
Blue bloods. Keep it in the family.
20:55 They used Jeeps as Mail trucks back in the day.
Ghoulash MY BOY IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ghoulash might be dead, but at least his luscious locks are vibrant and healthy.
So happy this channel is back (love the hair)
I would break down like Tim too after seeing the bad movies I was cast in
"talking weave" 💀
Ghoulog!!🔥

I was shocked to find out Ray Walston lived into the late 90s
This is the only Addams Family movie I like because it's dumb and I had it on VHS as a little kid. Also it has a neckbeard playing Pugsley and Ed Begley Jr. being so badass he melts off the screen.
I love Tim Curry's suit though
I wonder if Ghoulog will review the cartoon movies or the Netflix show Wednesday next?
It's genuinely hilarious how the only actors they got from the first two movies were the ones that don't even talk🤣🤣
It's been a while, indeed~
I love you ghoul
Scientifically speaking, there's no genetic issues that come from relationships between cousins. It's actually a common practice in Europe
Tim Curry isn't fully retired through. Yes he is retired from on screen acting but he still voice acts
6:27 What's with Fester's annoying voice in this?
Personally the hill house gang from BeetleBorgs are wayyy more likable than this version of The Addams Family.
I wasted this movie as a kid more often than the other two, and I was also a fan of the new Addams family show and I always thought it was okay. A string of culture clash moments is essentially all there is to Addams Family concept
whyyy did you have to bring up this trauma again?
Hey this movie is bad at least the new Addams family tv show is good and it something about your movie the best part of your movie is tv show that spawn it’s
Who would win in the Ultimate Battle: Ghoulash or Bub ?
Pretty sure one of the couples at the party in the original movie are cousins
Tim Curry as Gomez
How does a dead man's hair grow?
The incest angle brings a whole new level of creepy to the franchise. This one looks really bad, and I remember seeing it on tv. Curry and Bagley Jr. are really too good for this thing.
Hell yes!
Ghoulash is alive
Tim Curry is excellent as Gomez Addams. 😀👍
What’s the weird “off” feeling I’m getting from this film, the backgrounds are really strange, is it green screen or something else?
the scariest part of the whole movie was Daryl Hannah's eyebrows.
Saw it once on vhs and it was sort of meh and when i say i saw it once i mean it as never saw it again im sure theres like a parallel universe out there where addams family reunion was a massive hit
I love this movie
Did the good Doctor wear a menacing hokey mask and ratty old sweats when he beat you with the Jose Canseco bat?
I'd watch it.
Why does fester sound like Pesto Goodfeather?
Oh, god. I did not need to hear you say that about the Addams lineage.
I mean... I had my suspicions. But I didn't want anyone to actually say it out loud.
Dolores also rhymes with clitoris lol
Sadly Tim Curry would have been remembered as a great Gomez if 1) Raul Julia hadn't played him first & 2) Tim was in a movie with better co-stars & budget
5:15🤣
19:38 😂
This weirdly isn't the worst movie I've seen Clint Howard in. That would be The Cat in the Hat.
Dear God. I've heard this film existed but it's even worse than I imagined * shudders *
Since Gomez is physically better, stronger and superior than Philip how could Philip lift and carry Gomez over his head and drag him across the table?
Eyy
The only good thing to come out of this movie was the TV show. Glenn Taranto and Ellie Harvie were absolutely delightful
I've been gone form the channel because of life stuff so I stopped keeping with these channels.
I used to pitty Ghoulash but I want to beat him after the theory. I know it makes sense and is possiblely true but I still want him to get introuble.
