Another wonderful beautiful video. I shall hear and hear and hear it over and over again. I shall repeat and repeat and repeat each sentence and expression over and over again, and then I shall memorize the whole story. Yes, a massive task; but it is achievable and hopefully I shall speak French as fluently and my father did. I could go one praising this beautiful piece of work. But there is no need. Whoever watches it and uses it will discover what I would say.

​@@sammyytube5999Thank you for your kind thoughts. With all due respects I would rather decline telling you how long it takes me to memorise this story for two reason. Firstly I have the advantage that although I do not speak French well now, I was exposed to the language from a young age as my father was French and as kids he spoke French it us. Secondly, I see so many people braging or stating how quickly they learn a language. For me learning a language should not be a race or a painful process; but en enjoyable one. It may take one person 10 years to get fluent, and another 2 or 3. If they enjoy attaining the goal it does not matter.
(Just by the way I wish so much that someone develops videos like this for Mandarin.)

@@LenAttard My inquiry certainly was not about a race, competition or brag, but rather sharing the proud moment when you've accomplished the goal that you've set for yourself. It is great to have a public forum where people share their interest and accomplishment in a common journey. This is such a soft and beautiful reading with the best practical advice. I am just returning to an interest in French after 7 years. I've listened to this twice and I'm happy to say that I comprehend 75% by ear and 90% reading and w/o english subtitles. But my speaking french needs much work. What a great passage to practice with. And yes, I can sleep peacefully listening to this tone of voice all night on repeat. Nice job.
