For punitive damages certain criteria must be met so it's possible you saw some where they didn't meet the criteria. For emotional distress in a contract case it has to be deemed a "personal contract" and very few meet that criteria.
      And to be completely correct, you said "cannot be requested" and anything can be requested. I'm sure you meant that the person wouldn't be awarded those damages so that's how I considered it in my response.

      That’s 100% a great way to fuck yo your kitchen! Don’t do it! Your kitchen is designed electrically by code to accommodate kitchen appliances and when you start branching off the dedicated plugs for your kitchen counter (hence the t slot receptacle we see. Picture off which tell you it’s 100% jumped off the kitchen counter plugs 🙃) you ruin the ability that line has tonhndle your coffe maker, toaster, blender etc etc etc because lot of these appliances require more energy so you’ll be inviting an electrical problem which can turn into an electrical repair if it goes wrong enough.

    I liked the defendant. It seemed the electrical outlet was OK with the second contractor. She should have called him back to fix the problem.

      No, at (12:05) she said the second plumber rewired the washer directly into the line. No GFD at all.

      You must be related to the defendant or a friend to have a comment like that. He obviously had no clue what he was doing. 🤔

    I'm surprised Milian didn't chastise the plantiff for not making sure the defendant didn't see if the dishwasher worked or not before leaving. I've seen her go at the head of black litigants for doing the exact same thing. Nonetheless the plantiffs document that she presented with respect to what the new plumber specified not to mention the defendant didn't have any receipts to back up his claims was damming to his own case.

      I bought a used washing machine and after they delivered it, they actually ran a cycle before they left to be sure all was in working order. The P definitely should be smarter about how she spends her money and with who. Sounds like she picked the first guy who answered her ad.

      Is the plaintiff recovering from Bell's palsy? The side of her face droops. It's too bad she wasted her money on a dishwasher. She could have gotten Botox to fix her face instead.

    The outlet he installed in not GFCI he is a f*cking joke. He installed a 20 amp outlet, the new plumber install 15 amp GFCI outlet probably saw the size of the wire in the outlet box and installed the correct amperage outlet.

      GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) is install any area that have moisture or water ( kitchen, bathroom even some basement. It will turn the power off to any thing that is plug into in if it sense moisture or water to prevent electric shock or death. Usually it have two center button reset and test. It work like a circuit breaker

    • @Channel-JJ
      @Channel-JJ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters are installed where required by the code as a means of preventing electrocution. You will find them around kitchen counter tops, bathroom basins and the exterior of houses/ buildings. In a normally operating circuit the current leaving the device and returning to the device are equal. GFCI's sense if there is a difference between the incoming and outgoing. If the difference is greater than 5 milli-amps they will trip removing power from the device.
