Big guy nailed the as i lay dying sound. It is exactly like reflections off of shadows are security after the intro about 20 seconds in.

@@Spiritsmusicwa absolutely a legendary album, and Everything from frail words collapse to awakened was solid, track after track.
IMO they always will be in the top 3 of metalcore, with All that remains and Trivium.
One last thing just to be clear, I dont think Ronnie ripped them off. I believe he got enough respect for them that its more of a homage to their great sound.

@@Spiritsmusicwa there is a lot of great bands in metalcore, but none of them are as constent as those 3. Each had their on unique sound, and every album is full of bangers one after the other. The only album that comes close in recent years is parkway drive's reverence.

What I will say is that I love how many people love this song now! When it first came out it was not widely accepted but as time goes on more and more people appreciate it. Great reaction guys!

Really like this, but for some reason having grown up in the early metalcore, post-hardcore scene, its just not as special as his current groundbreaking stuff. The rap add-in was a nice touch that added something though.
