Cool results! 😎 By the way, the Indigenous American percentile also lumps in your Native Central American ancestry with the Taíno, but it's just thay 23andme was most likely only able to pinpoint the Taíno markers currently. It could be that you could eventually receive an update with Central American markers as 23andme makes more breakthroughs down the line with the gradual development of higher accuracy.
I am Puerto Rican and my DNA is 37% Indigenous. Some of us have higher Taina due to our ancestors regions in PR. If u have coamo, moca. Aguadilla, in those areas ur most likely to have higher Taina roots. My Family looks Tainos/Native Americans.
My family is from aguadilla and caguas mainly, my results came out to be %25 taino exactly(for now), my grandmother who’s families was from both caguas and aguadilla had very beautiful caramel skin and dark hair and eyes, and we all assumed she was mainly Taina. Our rediscovery is so heartwarming to see and necessary in these times❤🇵🇷
Because that Indigenous Puerto Rican is so high, IMO I believe some of that must be partially Guatemalan Indigenous to, because the Central American region usually have higher amounts of that than the Caribbean. A good amount of my opinion is based on the many TH-cam videos I've viewed from other TH-camr's DNA results; otherwise, it was an interesting video to watch. Thanks for sharing your results.
Absolutely, Guatemalan mestizos are often between 40-60% Indigenous while the Mayans are over 80% on average. Since Puerto Ricans are normally like 10-15% Native, then her Guatemalan side is probably like 45-50%. Which adds up since she gets half from each parent
The african dna size alone is not big enough to impact any features, skin tone and hair. It's the native american dna or native african dna combined with african that will make a impact.

Yes, that would be really cool if I could see some more of my Guatemalan side come through eventually. Hoping to see an update soon! 🤩

Cool results your dad and mom should take the test to see how much native they both get
Wondering what your haplogroup results are? They come with the test you should check
nice results you should try Ancestry ...
This was so cool!!!
AH! THANK YOU 💗💗
Puerto Ricans always seem to strain the machine😁
Youre probably 20% ssa from your puerto rican side and 5% from your Guatemalan side. Youre gorgeous by the way. All the black went to your voice lol

When I first looked at you, I thought you were half Native American and half European or half East Asian and half European.
Haha yeah those are the combos I tend to get from people 😂
Your Native American dna even though it says PR is from both, Puerto Rico and Guatemala.

Lies my stepsister is more mexican than puerto rican and looks like a lightskinned black girl.
@MichaelSanchez-t3n lightskinnedness isn't exclusive to africans lmao
